'Supernatural': Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki talk clowns, Castiel, and going crazy

Well, "Supernatural" fans, seven seasons into our favorite show, we've finally reached the unicorns-and-clowns episode. This week we'll see the Winchester boys return to Kansas to investigate Plucky Pennywhistle's Magical Menagerie, a Chuck E. Cheese type of children's establishment where kids' worst fears are coming to life. For Sam, that means getting his butt kicked by some violent clowns. We sat down with Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles last week on set to get the scoop on this episode. "It's not just like oh, it's a cute beating," Jared tells us. "It's a whoopin'. It took over a day to film us fighting through all different parts, myself and two clowns. It was a lot of fun, but I couldn't walk for like two days [after], because it was so labor intensive, getting up, getting down, jumping on this... I think I'm tougher than I am, so I like to pretend I'm doing the hard stuff.... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/02/supernatural-jensen-ackles-and-jared-padalecki-talk-clowns-castiel-and-going-crazy.html

Supernatural Preview: Dean Thinks Sam's Fear of Clowns is Hilarious

Yesterday we posted a sneak peek for the upcoming February 10 episode of Supernatural ( watch it here ).  After the Amazons escaped town at the end of the last episode, the boys, unfortunately, have no other leads on the women.  While Dean checks in with Frank to prompt him to dig more on the leviathans, Sam spots a possible case for them.  As it turns out, several parents are being murdered in a small town.  What do the victims have in common?  Recently, all of their children were at Plucky Pennywhistle's pizza parlor.  While there, the kids were asked to draw a picture of their greatest fear, which later comes to life and kills their parents.  Expect all manner of monsters and even a murderous unicorn to pop up in the episode. You may recall that we were introduced to a pretty big fear of Sam's all the way back in season 2 of Supernatural .  It seems the youngest Winchester is seriously afraid of clowns.  Dean's reaction to this fear has remained constant throughout the years: he think it's both ridiculous and hilarious.  Naturally, when it comes time to get the bad guys, Sam has to fight off his own childhood fear while Dean goes after the source of the magic. 'Supernatural' Video: Deans Says 'No' to Hot Chicks and Booze

After last week's downer of a Supernatural episode, the boys need a change of pace. What better way to turn that frown upside-down than an episode hilariously titled "Plucky Pennywhistle's Magical Menagerie." //www.buddytv.com/articles/supernatural/supernatural-video-deans-says-43822.aspx

Supernatural Sneak Peek: Dean Swears Off One-Night Stands & Sam Faces His Fears

Last week's Supernatural turned out to be a rather emotional episode that brought Dean's current feelings of apathy into stark relief.  Hunting doesn't really interest him any more, as is demonstrated by his lack of interest in their current case.  Even having a one night stand didn't really seem to thrill him.  Although, that situation got interesting quickly when he realized that something was very strange about the woman he slept with.  It turns out she was an Amazon who gave birth to his child...who later grew into a teenager in a matter of days.  When his daughter (Emma) came to kill him in order to be properly initiated into the tribe, Dean hesitated in killing her.  Sam was the one who finally shot her, but it's clear that he's concerned his brother might not be doing his best to make sure he stays alive any more.  Read More... //feedproxy.google.com/~r/tvovermind/tvnews/~3/4Xo8o-l2BkI/122483

'Supernatural' stars Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki talk time travel and monster babies

Seven seasons in to "Supernatural," a show that few expected to survive its first season, the set is arguably one of the most comfortable we've visited. When we stopped by this week on an uncharacteristically mild Vancouver day, everyone was in good spirits because a crew member's mother had sent homemade snacks to work. A giant Super Bowl pool was set up just off-screen (with a tiny, futile "Go Cowboys" written in below every instance of Jensen Ackles' name). Jared Padalecki rehearsed a scene in which he used a candlestick to break a glass display case -- and when cut was called, he turned, looked at the camera, gave it his best smoldering glare, licked the candle stick, and reset the scene.Fans can likely look forward to seeing that on the blooper reel. When we sat down with the boys (beside a set piece from the upcoming episode "Plucky Pennywhistle's Magical Menagerie") we had to talk... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/02/supernatural-stars-jensen-ackles-and-jared-padalecki-talk-time-travel-and-monster-babies.html

'Supernatural' exclusive clip: 'Vampire Diaries' star Sara Canning gives Dean the brush-off

Last spring, "Vampire Diaries" fans were devastated to lose Sara Canning when the villainous Klaus sacrificed her character, Jenna, in his lust for power. Luckily, Canning didn't bother to take much time off after Jenna's tragic death. She headed back to her native Vancouver eight months ago, and has since played a wide variety of characters -- she'll appear as the bounty hunter title character in Hallmark's upcoming "Hannah's Law," and recently wrapped the comedy "I Think I Do" in Edmonton. This week, we'll see her return to The CW on "Supernatural" as one of Dean's "work-out partners" (as he describes it in the exclusive clip above) who turns out to be much, much more than he bargained for.Spoiler alert: She's having his baby. Quickly."It's funny, because you audition with certain expectations, and then later you find out the full extent of what the character arc is," Canning tells us.
