'The Amazing Race' Season 17, Episode 10 Recap

It's hard to believe that we're down to the final four on  'The Amazing Race.' While it seems like just a few weeks have gone by, already the teams ousted early are fading in my mind. Two all-female teams are still in contention for the big win and both of them are pretty dang tough, wouldn't you say? Then there's Nick and Vicki. Despite tough appearances, they're not so tough. Well, at least Nick isn't. On the other hand, even though she lacks a lot of savvy, Vicki is one determined woman. But will it do her any good when she's saddled herself with Nick? Read on. Heading into tonight's episode, two things were a bit predictable. Obviously there would be a bunching point causing the teams to even out time-wise once again. No way could the final four have one team (Jill and Thomas) with a humongous lead on the others. It would make the finale a bit anti-climatic. Remember Joe and Bill in the Season 1 finale? The other thing would be to make this the last non-elimination leg of the season. This usually takes place with the final four running for their lives, or for the million dollars, to be more accurate. To Read More  Click Here.

Chinese Food Takes its Toll on 'The Amazing Race'

It's time to leave Bangladesh, it's far too densely populated. Teams will now fly to Hong Kong, China, then travel by bus and ferry to search for the Cheung Po Tsai Cave. I approve! Jill and Thomas leave first, and have no idea who has been eliminated, just that they gave Brook and Claire a U-turn. Jill and Thomas go to a travel agency then back to the hotel, and everyone else goes to the airport. Jill and Thomas are not happy to see Brook and Clairewhen they get to the airport. "Don't hate us, k?" "you should take it as a compliment!" Seeya in Hong Kong, where everyone will be tied up! They run to the bus and Jill and Thomas get on the first one out. Thomas, in possibly his most offensive moment yet, says they're going to "Ching Chong Island." Maybe he didn't know what he was saying?  Nick and Vicki run to the ferry, but Vicki struggles with asthma. Maybe yelling will make it better, Nick thought to himself. They're stuck on the next ferry, which leaves half an hour later. Nick, who just a few legs of the race ago vowed not to yell anymore, tells Vicki, "I'm sick of you being sorry." Ouch. He says he's not stopping next time and she needs to suck it up. She's not the kid from the movie,  Sidekicks , Nick! Geez!  Claire, like Vicki, is struggling to keep up with her teammate. Jill and Thomas reach the clue box first, and learn that they will get on a ferry and find Majesty Chinese Restaurant for their next clue. Brook and Claireare starting to fall apart. Is Brook the new Thomas? No, they hugged it out.  To Read More Click Here.

THE AMAZING RACE “I Hate Chinese Food” Recap

The final four teams travel from Dhaka, Bangladesh to Hong Kong, China in the "I Hate Chinese Food" episode of THE AMAZING RACE. It’s needle in a haystack time again–this time with vomit. Bunching: Jill and Thomas are the first to leave the Lalbagh Fort Pit Stop at 8:25 am. They have a five and a half hour lead on Nick and Vicki and an almost nine hour lead on last to leave Brook and Claire, but all four teams end up on the same 11:55 pm flight to Hong Kong International Airport. As happy as that makes me for Nat and Kat and Brook and Claire, I feel bad for Jill and Thomas. During the lull, we get a foreshadowing moment where Vicki tells us she and Nick are still working on her calming him down but that he’s getting better. Shahjalal Airport: Brook and Claire think Jill and Thomas will "poop their pants" when they see their U-Turn failed. There is no pooping, and it isn’t even that awkward. Thomas tells the shopping hosts to take it as a compliment, everyone shakes hands, and we move on. To Read More  Click here.
