Stephen Colbert asks 'The Hobbit's' Smaug the tough questions

If you've ever wondered what really goes on inside the mind of a CGI dragon, "The Colbert Report" is the show for you. Host Stephen Colbert welcomed Smaug -- the Benedict Cumberbatch-voiced dragon from "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" -- to his show Thursday (Dec. 11) and didn't go easy on the fire-breathing beast. After bursting through the show's set, Smaug was immediately asked why everyone considers him to be a bad guy. "It's just typical liberal Hollywood bias," he claims. "It's hard for conservatives to get good roles in this town." He also admits to trying to kill Bilbo Baggins. "What would you do if someone brought into your house wearing a hoodie?" Smaug asked, referencing the murder of Trayvon Martin. "I was standing my ground."Among the other things learned about Smaug in the interview is his hate for the dragons of "Game of Thrones" -- he calls them lap lizards --... //feedproxy.google.com/~r/Zap2it/~3/E2fHmxtDksM/the_colbert_report_stephen_colbert_the_hobbits_smaug-2014-12

Steven colbert puts his face in your brain!

In the last episode of the Colbert report I was personally impressed with the level of humor in it. The flaming calculator was especially hilarious. In his last few episodes he (in my opinion) was "losing his thunder" but apparently he has it back, along with a whole other torment of laughs following him. In his interview with Simon Johnson he simply denied everything he said! it was one of the funnier interviews Steven Colbert has given in a while. The way he explained Johnson's own lecture back at Johnson was as if he was talking to a small child... simply hilarious.

The Christmas Special

So did anyone else watch the Christmas special last night? It was frichen hilarious. I haven't laughed this hard at Christianity in probably a week. Elvis Costello was fantastic, although I was sad that he didn't sing that much. Fiest as the angel was awesome and sexy, her number with the 1800 angel helpline was beautiful. The sexy nutmeg song with John Legend was awesome and I usually hate that style of music. Oh my god, Willy Nelson with his pot song and then getting arrested. However, the best part was John Stewart coming out and singing? about Hanukkah. I fell off the couch I was laughing so hard, "We have potato pancakes and.....tops." Giant LOL, at that one. All-in-all a fantastic addition to Colbert's repertoire. I am not a fan of Christmas, but this one was ridiculously awesome. In a Colbert kind of way

1st Review...

Wow, Can not believe no one else has written a review on how amazing this show is. Watched Daily show for a while and once this show came on I just fell in love. It takes shots from the big News shows, but If I want to find out topics around the world I turn on The Colbert Report first. His style of presentation is awesome...I wish he would be on the ballot for President. Truthyness Is shown through-out many shows, so he does impact society! Stephen Colbert For Prez!
