I'm sick of these stupid corny dialogues. Every episode feels like a chore to sit through. Why does Bloodwork (what an idiotic nickname) needs an army to assault Star Labs? He has The Flash, there's no need for a zombie horde OR particle accelerator, he can run at super speed infecting everyone. And while we are on this subject, Ramsey said that his "blood brothers" are becoming part of the collective mind but that clashes with how mindless they are portrayed. It would've been much cooler and creepier if they weren't just zombies, but people who chose the eternal life and were going around convincing/forcing others to turn and really were a hivemind. And then Barry makes that reverse connection at the end. Zombies are a thing of the past, that trend died a long time ago. I doubt anyone even watches that rotten (pun intended) The Walking Dead show anymore. And how the hell does UV light act as a cure? Was that ever explained? I kinda stopped paying attention. And if that girl's powers were effective against Bloodwork (still an idiotic nickname), why haven't they used her sooner?

Why does every mind-controlling situation end up being like a zombie apocalypse these days? The quirky villains (sharkman, right, talk about bizarre), those that are unexpected, seem really far from the writing room for this episode. Barry is frothing black goo from the mouth and doing his best zombie RRRRRR, and I want to say, "come on folks, do MORE with this mind-body control, dig deeper", make the connection and the power of one over the other smarter and more intriguing rather than giving in to an "every show has to have the zombie-takeover-of-someone's-mind moment. I will give this episode some credit as the intrigue about "Crisis" is gearing up to an all high, and the is-Barry-compromised or not idea worked well, but I will hope that for future episodes and seasons the creators at work in the writing room will dig deeper to make better versions of even overused concepts.
