‘The Looney Tunes Show’ Season 2 Announced

The Looney Tunes Show  will continue to bring the laughs on the Cartoon Network  after being renewed for a second season. The Warner Bros. animation will return in its sophomore year with its loveable and opposite characters Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck  who share a house, rooming together in a modern day suburb. The series will also feature the likes of Porky, Lola, Speedy, Tina and more, following the crew in a round of all new hilarious storylines. Season 2 is set to play out as Bugs becomes a fan of Porky’s buttery catering. Gossamer will also fall into some trouble when he is turned into a frog by Lola who accidentally reads from a Witch’s spell book  that she mistakes for a bedtime story. Episode Synopsis:  Daffy’s obsession with a television star leads him to a real-life quest for justice  in "Off Duty Cop," airing Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 8 p.m. (ET, PT) on Cartoon Network. Daffy doesn’t understand that Steve St. James and his chauffeur are fictional characters  in a television police drama. When he has a chance to meet the lead actor at a book signing, he takes matters (and some sunglasses) into his own hands, becoming the off-duty cop he idolizes and enlisting Porky as a sidekick. The fact that impersonating a police officer is a crime escapes Daffy, and he causes mayhem all around town as he handcuffs unwitting bystanders with abandon. Meanwhile, Bugs tries to get his coffee addiction under control by switching to Spargle, an energy drink  hocked by Yosemite Sam. Episode Synopsis:  Seems barely anyone in the neighborhood  has a valid driver’s license, as nearly the entire gang spends the day trying to get one in "DMV," airing Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 8 p.m. (ET, PT) on Cartoon Network. It all starts when Daffy insists on driving  Bugs to the movies. He runs a stop sign in his parade float and gets pulled over, and since he has no license, the float gets towed. This starts a domino effect of moving violations, invalid licenses and failed driver’s exams among all those near and dear to Bugs. If only he had driven, none of this would have happened – but as it is, Bugs finds the best form of transportation is his own two legs. Wile E. Coyote uses a remote-controlled sports car to try to catch up to the Roadrunner in "Remote out of Control". Not wanting to lose their spot, Bugs buys Girardi’s – but it’s never been his dream to own a restaurant, and the experience quickly turns into a nightmare. His staff of pals is horrible, and the customers quickly disappear. Bugs says he needs a miracle – fast! No one is as fast as Speedy Gonzalez, who quickly turns the place around, resulting in a line of eager diners around the block.
