Elizabeth grew up in a family where being obese was acceptable, even expected, and despite being overweight she held to the mantra that she was happy. But faced with emergency surgery she finally realized that her health should be a priority. Now Elizabeth hopes to end the cycle of obesity in her family by showing her daughter the adventures in life that being healthy makes possible – she’s going zip lining.
