One of the BEST TV shows of all time hands down. Yes, TWD fans are full of hyperbole, but this show is really worth it. It is smart and entertaining, it thrashes you around on a crazy rollercoaster and leaves you begging for more.

TWD is not for the weak of stomach, there is plenty of gore and carnage but the show is so much more than that, it is a complex and multi-layered look at the human condition when civilization as we know it crumbles overnight. The show is brilliantly written, directed and the acting is head and shoulders above 99% of whats on TV.

The characters are complex and multi-dimensional human beings, they are flawed and heroic and are forced to make impossible choices in order to survive, they are regular people faced with insane situations. The TWD does not coddle its viewers nor does it condescend, each episode is a piece of a large puzzle and the viewers are forced to think about what just happened and how it fits into the larger picture. This show raised the bar not only for the horror genre but for all TV shows going on now and forever to come.
