'The Walking Dead' AMC spinoff to actually be a prequel series?

"The Walking Dead" companion series might not be a completely separate story from the hit AMC zombie drama after all. According to new rumors about the project, the spinoff might actually be a prequel. TV Line hears murmurings that the series will be "a prequel of sorts, one that would chronicle the early days of the epidemic and the effort to contain it." That's far from confirmed and AMC didn't comment, but it sounds like a legitimate idea that could be being tossed around in the writer's room. When AMC announced the new show, few details were revealed other than the fact it would involve a completely different cast of characters. With the network hoping for a 2015 launch of the new series, there's plenty of time to consider all the possible options for the project. "It definitely won't be set in Georgia," Robert Kirkman recently told IGN. "It's important to us that this show... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2013/11/the-walking-dead-amc-spinoff-to-actually-be-a-prequel-series.html

The Walking Dead Season 4: Will We See Carol Again?

The most recent episode ofThe Walking DeadSeason 4. didn't do much to clear up what the future looks like for Carol Peletier(Melissa McBride). So what's next for her? Carol was M.I.A. from the excitement of Season 4, Episode 5: "Internment," with the only mention of her being when Rick tells Maggie and Hershel that he banished Carol for killing Karen and Rick. A fan of the show asks TV Line whether Carol is gone from the show for good, and the answer is cryptic but definite. The Walking Dead Season 4, Episode 5: “Internment” — [SPOILERS] Die!

We were worried that a major death would occur during The Walking Dead Season 4, Episode 5: “Internment”, and with the deadly flu spreading like wildfire, we certainly had reason to be scared for all of our favorite characters. This week, more so than any previous week, quite a few crucial members of Team Prison edged closer to death. For starters, Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun) nearly died as his flu worsened. In fact, we’d say he’s only alive thanks to Hershel Greene (Scott Wilson) getting the... //feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/CTN3gJQflSY/2013-11-10-season-4-episode-5-internment-die

'The Walking Dead' Season 4: When will the Governor return?

Four episodes of "The Walking Dead" have aired, and there has been no sign of the Governor thus far. Though characters like Michonne have tried to track him after his disappearance at the end of Season 3, his trail has gone cold and it seems like he might be gone for good. Of course, viewers know that he isn't. David Morrisseyis a full time series regular in Season 4, even though his character hasn't reared his one-eyed head yet. So when exactly will he return to the show? "Just when you think things are getting to a breaking point, that's when the Governor layer will be thrown in to make things that much more deadly and dangerous," comics writer Robert Kirkman teases to The Hollywood Reporter. "It's going to be a really big, memorable moment in the show." It certainly seems like the show's getting to that point. The Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 5 New Footage: "You Shoot or You Run" in "Internment" (VIDEO)

This new preview for Sunday's (November 10) The Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 5, "Internment" really only includes one new line. It's from Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) to his son Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs), and it's either "You shoot or you run, don't let him get close" or "You shoot or you run, don't let 'em get close." If it's "him" then we have either a dangerous human male — like some one-eyed guy we know — or a guy like Dr. S. who just turned and needs to be put down. Maybe there is a... //feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/sboGD9MVPG4/2013-11-08-season-4-episode-5-internment-video

The Walking Dead Season 4, Episode 5: "Internment": Who Will Die?

It’s war! OK, maybe not yet, but it sounds like the prison has to gear up for battle on The Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 5, “Internment” (which airs Sunday, November 10 at 9 p.m. ET on AMC). We’re just not sure how many enemies they’ll be fighting. The synopsis has us very curious: "Assorted enemies pressure Rick and the group; the survivors and the prison may reach a breaking point." What an art it is, writing such vague but tantalizing synopses. What or who are the assorted enemies? The... //feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/DoIkqLtNMTc/2013-11-06-season-4-episode-5-internment-who-will-die

The Walking Dead Season 4 Finale Is “Deeper, Darker, and Grown Up”, Says Andrew Lincoln

We hate to wish away a perfectly good season on The Walking Dead, but for weeks now we've been hearing that there’s some seriously good stuff coming up for Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) and it’s admittedly getting pretty difficult for us to contain our excitement. Truth be told, child soldier and sometimes sociopath Carl has never been one of our favorite TWD characters, but there’s a ton of buzz about at least one episode involving Rick’s only son, which will air in the coming months. Last... //feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/wadWhbrT0yY/2013-11-05-season-4-finale-deeper-darker

The Walking Dead Season 4 Spoilers: When Are Abraham, Eugene, and Rosita Coming?

Some of these new characters on The Walking Dead Season 4 haven’t been working out so well. (RIP already, Zach and Patrick.) We have higher hopes for three people coming later this season — Sgt. Abraham Ford (Michael Cudlitz), Rosita Espinosa (Christian Serratos), and Dr. Eugene Porter (Josh McDermitt) TWD is loosely based on the comic books written by executive producer Robert Kirkman; in the books, Rosita, Eugene, and Abraham cross paths with our now Team Prison group after The Governor’s... //feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/pIlSVPG3TXw/2013-11-05-season-4-spoilers-when-abraham
