'The Walking Dead' Season 4: Robert Kirkman promises Abraham is coming soon

Continuing his trend of being the most forthcoming of "The Walking Dead" bunch, Robert Kirkman has unveiled a boatload of excited teases of the upcoming back half of Season 4. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the "Walking Dead" comics creator discusses the introduction of three exciting new characters: Abraham, Eugene and Rosita. Like Gale Anne Hurd teased to Zap2it, they're coming soon. "These characters are going to be extremely similar to who they were in the comics and I'm really excited about that," he tells the site. "The visuals and costuming for them has been absolutely amazing. These people really do look like they were torn out of the comic page, it's pretty startling." He continues, "I will say people excited for the introduction of these characters won't have to wait very long. I don't want to reveal exactly when they'll be introduced, but it won't be too terribly late in the season so... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2014/02/the-walking-dead-season-4-robert-kirkman-promises-abraham-is-coming-soon.html

Everything old is new again on The Walking Dead Season 4. The Walking Dead Season 4: More Standalone Episodes, Like The Governor's, in Second Half

The AMC suits admit they were worried about how fans — and the cast — would react to two episodes of The Walking Dead Season 4 focused just on The Governor (David Morrissey). AMC President Charlie Collier told Entertainment Weekly it gave them pause when they saw that plan for Episodes 6 and 7. "Of course," he said. "You get those scripts and go, ‘What are people going to think?’ And are we going to see the Norman Reedus fans saying, ‘Where is he?’ But what a payoff!" Do we need to retract our apology to Bob Stookey (Larry Gilliard Jr.)? Maybe it was too soon.
