The Walking Dead Season 4, Episode 9: “After” More Photos — Michonne Reunites With Rick and Carl

After more than two months off the air we were finally treated to a brand-new hour of The Walking Dead last Sunday night as the second half of Season 4 debuted. Season 4, Episode 9: “After” wasn’t a very action-packed installment, but it did allow us to catch up with Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) and finally learn about Michonne’s (Danai Gurira) past. Though the hour began with Rick at death’s door and Carl full of anger for his dad, it ended on a hopeful note... //feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/cRdwJoG30J8/2014-02-13-season-4-episode-9-after-photos

The Walking Dead Season 4 Spoilers: New Villain Will Be “Very Different” From Past Obstacles

Though we still haven’t ruled out the possibility of seeing The Governor (David Morrissey) on The Walking Dead in a series of flashbacks, Team Prison (or whatever we should start calling them now) can rest assured that the one-eyed dude is definitely dead. After the all-out war he declared in the midseason finale, Lily Chambler shot him in the head and Michonne (Danai Gurira) finished him off with her katana. However, one could argue that our group of now-scattered survivors has even more to... //feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/q0BAybS2i1k/2014-02-10-season-4-spoilers-new-villain

The Walking Dead Season 4: More Michonne Revelations Ahead, Rick and Carl Are Her New "Family"

Team Richonne had a nice win at the end of The Walking Dead Season 4, Episode 9, “After,” when Michonne (Danai Gurira) knocked at the house door, Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) actually smiled, and told his son Carl (Chandler Riggs) “It’s for you.” Great line. Great delivery. Great moment for all three characters. And maybe Carl won’t feel the need to lash out as much with Michonne around, since she’s capable of killing a dozen walkers on her own without leaving a single gloating note about... //feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/matW9Jf9drI/2014-02-10-season-4-michonne-rick-carl-family

The Walking Dead Season 4: Did We See Michonne's Family In a Flashback?

Michonne (Danai Gurira) spent a lot of time in her own head in The Walking Dead Season 4, Episode 9, "After." While it kind of sucked for Michonne, who spent a good portion of the episode crying and letting out some Tyreese-level rage, it was great for fans who wanted a little bit of insight on what made her the katana-weilding warrior woman she is today. However, it wasn't a flashback, unless you know of any standard-size knife blocks that can magically hold a full-size katana. //feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/Yjlbx2mVjbA/2014-02-09-michonne-family-son-flashback-dream

AMC dropped the new year’s first mid-season trailer for  The Walking Dead   a few days ago , and now a near teaser is here to remind viewers that the second half of season four is on its way.  Rick (Andrew Lincoln) is looking pretty rough in this new cut, which is to be expected after the devastating events of the mid-season finale.  Now that the group of survivors is scattered to the wind, there’s no telling what will happen to them out in the wild. The Walking Dead Season 4 Spoilers: What Happens in Episode 10, "Inmates"?

AMC did a lot to prepare us for The Walking Dead Season 4’s midseason premiere, but what about Episode 10, “Inmates,” which will air on Sunday, February 16? The Sunday, February 9, Episode 9, “After,” will closely follow the comic books, focusing on two storylines: Michonne (Danai Gurira) and, separately (for a while anyway), Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) right after the prison battle.
