Damon is shocked when Jack fires him from Jabot, and correctly deduces that it is connected to his relationship with Phyllis, but Jack refuses to reconsider.
Love, love, love this show! I am glad they haven't canceled it. A shame that British shows have such small seasons. This is one of those shows that you feel part of the family. The views are gorgeous and makes you want to move there. The aloofness and weird ways of Doc Martin are just hillarious. I am on my third time watching the series from the beginning.
I love this show. The quiet and awkward doctor going about his work and trying to ignore his fear of blood is a refreshing humor from abroad.
Absolutely love this sweet show. The writing is brilliant along with t he acting. Just love everything about it.
With so many colorful and eccentric characters, one can't help but to love this show throughout its eight seasons. Dr. Martin is one off those people that you understand one minute, than shaking your head the next with an OMG over something he said, or for something his done to one of his patients and town folks, because of his non-existent social skills. But all in all you learn to love the guy and all his quirks, cause nobodies perfect after all.
I've watched all the Doc Martin episodes and am waiting for the last season to drop. Its a unique show as the main character's personality is far up on the autistic spectrum. The Doc's uncaring social ineptitude is often startling. Did he just say that?
If you score high on the autistic spectrum or are highly introverted like me, you will likely enjoy watching yourself on the screen. I have often found myself thinking during the shows... I would love to be slightly more anti-social so I could say what the Doc just said to all these annoying people in the real world.
Only 3.5 stars as the seasons get kind of monotonous. Its really the same season again and again. But that is sooo Doc Martin.
