A high-speed test train on a Japanese Maglev line is out of control, and to prevent it running into the back of a passenger train only Brains can stop it by boarding the train. He is able to do this with the help of Scott and Thunderbird 1, to then discover that it is under the control of an Artificial Intelligence program, which John in Thunderbird 5 determines is playing a game.
