This week Steve and Warren play mailmen. But not just any mailmen, and of course not just in any old mail vans. This week sees Steve and Warren driving the Oodnadatta Track. This 620 kilometre journey from Coober Pedy to William Creek has to be one of Australia's toughest road journey's as well as being one of the world's most famous off road tracks. Each vehicle is packed to capacity as they head off. So just what are they driving? Steve is driving the Fiat500, which reassuringly has a high safety rating for low impact collisions. I don't know of many low impact situations on the Oodnadatta Track, but who knows? And Warren? He is driving the Smart ForTwo, which unfortunately has a "tyre incident" which Steve is sure could have been avoided. Not happy Jan! Now what about the age old question of women being attracted to certain men because of what car they drive? The boys check out women's emotional responses to various male stereotypes with some amazing results. And it's not all Porsche 911 GT3's getting all the "sheilas" either. Steve and James travel to Devil's Alley where they pit the 1979 Toyota LandCruiser against the Nissan 2009 Turbo Diesel. At stake (or should I say steak) is a good ol' Aussie Meat Pack. And this week the Star in a Bog Standard Car is Gary Sweet.
