True Blood’s Kristin Bauer van Straten on the Pam-Tara Sex Scene We All Missed

On the last season of True Blood , Pam finally became a maker, and while escaping the Authority headquarters, shared a steamy kiss with her progeny, Tara. This season, Pam's got to make time for Tara on top of her other complicated relationships, as her own maker Eric finally reveals that the friend he had in the Authority was his sister. Plus, there's the True Blood drink shortage, the Louisiana governor's war on vampires, and disputed rights to Fangtasia. What's a fashion-savvy bloodsucker to do? Kristin Bauer van Straten chatted with Vulture about shoplifting, modesty pouches, and the Pam-Tara sex scene we didn't get to see. Sam Trammell on True Blood Season 5 Finale: It's "Ridiculous"

True Blood season 5 just premiered, but the cast and crew are already filming the finale. And according to Sam Trammell, fans have a lot to look forward to. "The season finale this year — we just read it yesterday. There’s something that happens to [Sam Merlotte] that is just ridiculous," he tells Access Hollywood. In the premiere, Sam was a punching bag for a pack of angry werewolves, and it seems like the finale may hold more action in store for the bar owner. "I got... //feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/V34D8BMJZkU/sam-trammell-on-true-blood-season-5-finale-its-ridiculous

True Blood: Simpler is Better

Remember when True Blood was a show about vampires? It's OK if you don't, because it's been a long time since the series focused on the blood-suckers that made it so great in the first place. Maenads, brujos, necromancers, ghosts: Creator Alan Ball 's constant expansion of the series' mythology has often overwhelmed the show instead of simply adding depth to the world of Bon Temps. And for every new supernatural element that worked (werewolves), there were many that didn't. (Need we remind you of the werepanthers?) And while we can't blame...  //www.tvguide.com/News/True-Blood-Season5-1048808.aspx?rss=breakingnews

True Blood’s Kristin Bauer van Straten on Pam as Tara's Maker: "She Hates This Girl"

It’s no secret that Pam hates Tara. The former has tried to kill the latter, after all. And Tara isn't such a fan of the other woman, either. But in Sunday night’s premiere episode, things changed  between the two, for good. "You’ve got two people now tied together because Pam’s one Achilles’ heel has been tied into making this relationship possible, which is Sookie will fix things with Eric if she turns Tara," Kristin Bauer tells The Huffington... //feeds.wetpaint.com/~r/wetpaint/latest/excerpt/~3/pcTPr4oqFKY/true-bloods-kristin-bauer-van-straten-on-pam-as-taras-maker-she-hates-this-girl

True Blood Preview: Eric and Bill Face the Vampire Authority

The waiting is over and  True Blood season 5 returned with a bang and picked up where we left it; with Tara (Rutina Wesley) taking a bullet for Sookie (Anna Paquin) and appearing in a very bad condition. We found out immediately what the result of this wound was but it was left until the climax of the episode before this was fully resolved, in a moment that even though it was expected still made me jump. There was a lot to catch up on (the 'previously on' segment ran for over two minutes) so let's dive into what happened in the premiere before we look to next week's preview (and check out our review here ). 'True Blood': Kristin Bauer van Straten's Pam 'considers herself like a Barbie doll'

Costume designer Audrey Fisher gets plenty of juicy material to work with dressing the characters on HBO's hit series "True Blood.""I have to design all these incredible fantasy scenes," she says, "and things like the beautiful turn-of-the-century outfit Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) wears in a flashback create a lot of drama and excitement and intensity in our department."Fisher loves dressing Pam because there is a lot of latitude in how she conceptualized the character with creator Alan Ball."Pam's got certain eras she really loves the designs from. She considers herself like a Barbie doll and considers her clothes like costumes. At Fangtasia we've had a Lara Croft outfit, a biker bitch outfit, a Barbarella outfit, a black widow outfit. It's fun for us to come up with a theme for each outfit. ... I imagine Pam has shoppers in New York, Paris and L.A. sending her cutting-edge things because she is a diva.
