‘Watamote’ Getting OAD Anime Episode

It’s going to be awhile, but there will be more  Watamote  after the twelve episode series ends this month. The manga will be bundling an episode 13 with it when the seventh volume is released on October 22nd, 2014. So yes, a full year away. Media Factory Sets ‘Watamote’ Japanese Anime DVD/BD Release Schedule

The summer series  Watashi ga Motenai no wa Dou Kangaete mo Omaera ga Warui! , otherwise known as  Watamote , has gotten its Japanese release schedule and plans set up. The show has been picked up for North American release in 2014 from Sentai Filmworks, but if you needs it early, the show will launch on Blu-ray and DVD on October 2nd. Sentai Filmworks Adds ‘Watamote’ Anime Home Video Rights

Sentai Filmworks continues to pick up summer 2013 series for eventual home video release, along with digital distribution rights, as they’ve added   WATAMOTE ~ No Matter How I Look At It, It’s You Guys’ Fault I’m Unpopular!  This new summer series clocks in at twelve episodes and is directed by Shin Oonuma ( Kokoro Connect ) and features character designs by Hideki Furukawa with series composition by Takao Yoshioka ( Demon King Daimao ) and sound direction by Saotshi Motoyama ( From the New World ). Crunchyroll Adds ‘WATAMOTE ~No Matter How I Look At It, It’s You Guys Fault I’m Not Popular!~’ For Summer 2013 Anime Lineup

With one of the longer titles out there this season, Crunchyroll has added  Watamote  this weekend to their summer cavalcade of simulcasts. The series is set to premiere on Tuesday, July 9th, at 3:0am ET for premium members and a week later for free members. The show has a decent bit of availability to it with it being open to audiences in the USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. Media Factory Unveils First ‘WataMote’ Anime Promo & Cast

As we near on the July 8th premiere of  WataMote  in Japan, Media Factory has let loose with a bit of new information and the first promotional video for the series. Based on the manga originally titled  Watashi ga Motenai no wa Dou Kangaete mo Omaera ga Warui! ,   It’s Not My Fault That I’m Not Popular! . Created by Nico Tanigawa, which is a pen name for two manga artists, it began in 2011 and has three volumes so far through its run in the Square Enix magazine GanGan Comics Online. Character Designs Revealed For Summer Anime Series ‘ It’s Not My Fault That I’m Not Popular!’

Based on the manga originally titled  Watashi ga Motenai no wa Dou Kangaete mo Omaera ga Warui! ,   It’s Not My Fault That I’m Not Popular!  is set for a July broadcast and some of the character designs have come out for the three lead characters. Based on the manga by Nico Tanigawa, which is a pen name for two manga artists, it began in 2011 and has three volumes so far through its run in the Square Enix magazine GanGan Comics Online. The title, which is shorthanded as  WataMote , has been picked up for release in manga form by Yen Press. A spinoff series, not licensed, began in January of this year in Gangan Joker. Few details have surfaced about the anime adaptation with these character designs being the first glimpse of a show that’s just over a month or so away.
