‘Community’, ‘Parks and Recreation’, ‘Up All Night’ and ‘Whitney’ Get Renewed at NBC

As other comedies at NBC are having the plug pull on their future, four other sitcoms are getting another chance at survival. The comedies that will be back at NBC include: //  

Whitney (NBC) “Something Black, Something Blue” Episode 22

Whitney  "Something Black, Something Blue" Episode 22 airs Wednesday March 28 at 8:00 p.m. Synopsis:  Alex  (Chris D’Elia) and Whitney (Whitney Cummings) head to City Hall  to make it official, but finding out that Whitney’s driver’s license is expired sparks a chain of unusual events that interfere with their plans  to wed. Later, Whitney’s dad (Guest Star Peter Gallagher) seemingly comes to the rescue, but it may be too late. TV ratings: 'American Idol' down again, 'Top Model' gets a boost

Fast National ratings for Wednesday, March 21, 2012FOX's "American Idol" was down again this week for both hours, though it still won the night for the network with most viewers. CBS' "Survivor: One World" also fell again a bit, while The CW's "America's Next Top Model: British Invasion" got a bit of a boost, as did "One Tree Hill."New series "Bent" only managed to garner 2.6 million viewers for NBC.FOX averaged 16.55 million viewers with a 10.1 rating/16 share in households for the night. CBS came in second at 11.1 million, 7.0/12. Third place went to ABC with 4.86 million (3.2/5) fourth was NBC with 3.16 million, 2.1/4, and The CW at 1.36 million, 0.9/2.In the adults 18-49 demographic, FOX won with a 4.9 rating, followed by CBS more distantly (2.8), then ABC (1.5), NBC (1.0) and the CW (0.6).... //

Whitney  "Something  Old, Something New" Episode 21  airs Wednesday March 21 at 8:00 p.m. Synopsis:  Alex (Chris D’Elia) returns from a bachelor party and makes a drunken marriage proposal to Whitney (Whitney Cummings). She laughs it off, but when she finds out that he broke her one rule about strip clubs — no going into the Champagne room – she sets out to find Britnee (Guest Star Eve), the dancer who lured him in. The confrontation takes a turn and Alex once again takes a knee. Fast National ratings for Wednesday, March 7, 2012FOX's "American Idol" was up this week in both the 8 and 9 o'clock hours, winning the network the top spot for Wednesday ratings. CBS' "Survivor: One World" held the line, while The CW's "America's Next Top Model: British Invasion" was up a bit over last week's 1.3 million viewers, getting 1.4 million viewers this week.FOX averaged 18.5 million viewers -- up 1.5 million over last week -- with a 10.8 rating/17 share in households. Whitney  "The Ex Box" Episode 19 airs Wednesday March 7 at 8:00 p.m. Synopsis:  When Whitney (Whitney Cummings) finds a box of stuff from Alex’s (Chris D’Elia) old girlfriend in the basement, she confronts Alex about it. Not satisfied with his answers  she turns  to Mark (Dan O’Brien) and gets more information than she bargained for. Meanwhile, trying to be the perfect roommate for Roxanne (Rhea Seehorn), Lily (Zoe Lister-Jones) only seems to make things worse. TV Ratings: 'Idol' wins, 'Survivor' premiere up slightly over last fall

Fast National ratings for Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012"American Idol" dropped a bit from last Wednesday's ratings, but still won the night with an average of 18.6 million viewers. The "Survivor: One World" premiere was actually up slightly over last fall's premiere of "Survivor: South Pacific," 10.7 million vs. 10.4 million, though it is down slightly from the premiere of "Survivor: Redemption Island" a year ago.FOX won the night on the back of a two-hour "Idol," with 18.7 million viewers and a 10.7 rating/17 share in households. CBS was second at 11.2 million, 6.9/11, followed by ABC at 7.86 million and a 5.0/8.
