The Signers contemplate about what Goodwin had told them. Yusei blames himself for Kalin becoming a Dark Signer, but Jack knocks some sense into him. Leo is reluctant to join Luna in going to the Satellite, since his battle with Sayer proved he wasn't a worthy hero, but Luna manages to convince him otherwise. Meanwhile, Crow encounters Lazar in the Satellite, mistaking him for a Dark Signer and goes after him. Despite Lazar proving he wasn't one, Crow attaches the explosive latch onto his duel disk and challenges him to a duel. Lazar gains the upper hand by playing a continuous trap that forbids Synchro Summoning, and summoning Jester Lord, whose power increases when there are magic or trap cards on the field.
