Yusei uses Shooting Quasar Dragon to destroy all 5 of ZONE's current Temporal Machine Gods, and then manages to bring out Shooting Star Dragon to deal a lot of damage to ZONE, reducing his life points to 700. ZONE screams when he takes the damage, and then he crashes into New Domino City's central building. Yusei then removes all of his speed counters to draw Clustering Wishes, and sets it face-down. After Yusei and ZONE talk about the right of changing the future, ZONE angrily blasts a hole in the building, and flies back up into the sky. ZONE then feels angry at Yusei, for reducing his life points by such a great amount, and tells Yusei that he will now prove to him that hope, and the possibility to fix the future without New Domino City's destruction, which Yusei believes in, was nothing before his power. Having already summoned all 10 Temporal Machine Gods, ZONE then uses his trap's effects once more, and sends Infinite Light Ein Soph Aur to the Graveyard, which allows him to Special Summon his true ace monster, Ultimate Temporal Machine God Sephiron. Sephiron's first special ability then revives 4 of ZONE's Temporal Machine Gods, which are Metaion, Zadion, Gabrion, and Sandaion, and grants them attack and defense points of 4,000. Sephiron's next special ablility then raises its own attack points from 4,000 to 20,000, as that is the total of all of the Temporal Machine Gods' attack points, including Sephiron's. Although Shooting Star Dragon is destroyed when ZONE attacks with Sephiron, Yusei survives the attack, thanks to his trap, Clustering Wishes, and manages to summon out Stardust Dragon. Yusei then uses the other trap's effects to give it an even stronger power of 23,000 attack points. With the power of his friends and supporters, and the final effect of Clustering Wishes, Yusei is able to destroy all of ZONE's monsters, defeats ZONE, which stops the Ark Cradle's descent, all during ZONE's turn. But despite the Ark Cradle powering off, it continues to break apart, but this time on a much bigger scale. Yusei then talks with ZONE, and wants to save him, but after hearing that he could do nothing about stopping ZONE's impending death, he feels helpless. ZONE then tells Yusei that it was okay, and reveals the reason behind his action, and regains hope that Yusei will fix the future. Seeing this, Yusei flies into the Ark Cradle, and prepares to sacrifice himself in order to apply the positive energy to the Ark Cradle's Ener-D reactor. But then, ZONE reappears, and having gained hope, decides to go in his place. As the Ark Cradle disappears from over New Domino City, Yusei returns safely to his friends.
