As much as I believe this story rings true to a lot of American teenagers going through this type of bullying and emotional destruction, I thought the execution was tragically slow and frustrating. A 50 minute long episode cliffhanger with the same dialogue:
'Explain it to me, please!'
'Just listen to the tapes.'
'But I don't understa..'
'LISTEN TO THE TAPES, CLAY.'
I'll give the show credit for interesting character development, creating an accessable and personal way to an important issue and making you feel something (I felt incredibly sick watching the last three episodes).
Who doesn't like more zombie series? Unlike The Walking Dead, iZombie is approachable for any age and instantly likeable. Seeing Liv growing as a person (with the helps of crunchy brains) and helping out solving crimes is a refreshing take on any crime theme. Looking forward to more episodes!
Best casting, best director and best punch lines you'll ever hear. And always getting excited for a new episode once that theme song kicks in.
This renewed show is wonderful, from head to toe. Glad to see some humanity back on the screen.
Could endlessly watch the teenage hysteria that is Awkward. Only reason I can't fully cling on to this series is because the main character falls most out of place out of any of the cast.
Sorry to agree with what most have said already - this show started off incredibly promising, original, fun - realizing what a gem Mindy is in her own story line. However, most characters stop making sense in their decisions, which is the biggest let down. For anyone who hasn't watched the series yet, treasure season 1 & 2 for what it is and don't bother after that.
These series are a big shout-out to all the oddities out there, and in what a wonderful way. For someone who isn't the biggest fan of the supernatural, this is a surprising favorite!
Instantly fell in love with Max Landis' adaptation from the Douglas Adams novels. Great characters, thrilling story and clever dialogue in both season 1 and 2.
I've grown to love these series so much and it's gut wrenching that creativity will never continue in the future.
The best love story since Twilight. With chlamydia.
Feel-good show of the year! #BeLikeDerek is teaching us to be a little nicer to not-so-nice people, because in the end they will be nicer too. As far away the show is from realistic characters, it hits you every time whenever it is. For the short period of time this series has to offer to us (as does life), it will make you experience every type of emotion and reconsider your perspective on life. Best show of the year, handed by the brilliance of Ricky Gervais.
Absolutely love this show, a deep dive into modeling and each and every fiercy personality coming along with it. Even every single time Tyra said 'You will still be in the running towards becoming..." I couldn't turn this off for 18 seasons. Stopped watching after the J's left, a part of the primary things that made this show so loveable. Will never forget all of the amazing girls though!
