Hope this is not too late to be considered in the review (as with The Expanse, SciFI2020S STYLE)
Am DEVASTATED! To find this show (only just weeks ago) & learn its just wrapped up!?! (my daughter shows me the TikTok/Insta of ...)... REAL, RAW, makes for the MOST ENTERTAINING... Resonates - as its in such contrast & relates to the the 'reality tv / fake news' era we are emerging from on mainstream/available media... Past shows, Thats My Mama, Chico, Welcome Back Kotter, touched on some of the real life themes - culture in a 'rated', popular way but, Shamless - takes a big byte of the drug & housing / health issues that MATTER!

...am always up for a time-travel out past those connections i already have embedded in my 3-sense memories - emotional&spiritual-mental & physical... That conjure up 'cell'-ancestry memory so excitingly 'touching'... Whether it be in SanFran-(newly-in-evolvement-USA... (significant in events just now...;)) - or, good ole' Aotearoa-New Zealand, down in the gold & greet-gold mines & vege-gardens of these 'Antartica-Antipodes;... Theres much in the way of REALITY HISTORY in the Nation's (sub-)cultural(?) origins - & even if just taken as a story telling,...

... now, instead of the after-movie, Theatre-front 'antics of the Poly boys coming out 'Kung Fu (play-) fighting' - hopefully, we'll have a resurgence of the Wing Chun proper...? (no dis to 'Karate Kid II...'... ;)

Am glad to be of an age that appreciates this period, time, (when my parents were born) - old enough to know, young enough see the new dramatised stories made with new entertainment tech ...
... from World At War, BBC at its best in the 70s, (and, some) to World on Fire - at a time when reminders of the deeper meanings of the terms, words, atrocities and society need be raised... ;)
adjusting to the perspectives production (probably eaiser not binge-watching?) and, letting go of viewing prejudices (attractiveness meters, sex content, ) this is such a very clever show! In that it touches on, then delves into every aspect of relationship dynamics in Society today!? I'm intrigued, in particular, in the real socio-demographics - 'recreation'/holiday vs city-work/life locations (rural/metro); the 'mentality' of it all... ;)
