Although a little extreme at times, I think this series brings to light some issues that are really important to focus on such as the amount of time we use on social networks and on our phones. Bringing together these problems as well as some light humour, I find this show quite enjoyable!
This show is a definite must for the Jane Austen fan. It has a different feel to it than the traditional Austen movies but you will fall in love with the characters. There are so many ups and downs to this mini-series and there will be tears however, it is uplifting and puts the female lead in a place of power throughout the entire series. Anyone who is a fan of Austen era films will enjoy this series a lot.
To be honest, the main actor in this show is a huge turn off. He isn't the attractive, dangerous guy a lot of females are looking for in a show called "Love". However, I think the real purpose of the show is to illustrate how yes, people find love but you don't just get to it in half a season. If the show wanted to depict a pair of extremely lost individuals trying to figure their life out before committing to someone then kudos because not only did it nail it in season 1 but it also proved a valid point.
The first episode of this show is not a seller. It's a little too quirky and the singing involved reminds me of an adult version of Glee. However, if you continue watching this show, every single one of the characters grow on you (even Valencia), the songs become too ridiculous to the point where they become catchy and the story line shifts from a desperate ex-girlfriend to a strong, empowered woman. It's funny and recommended for those who watch New Girl, Don't Trust the B**** in Apartment 23 and Jane the Virgin.
The TV take on the movie franchise, Scream the tv series starts off with gory start. As many series do, the show is filled with secrets and hidden motives. I'm not sure where the this show is going but I am interested to find out. It's both scary and intriguing and for fans who enjoy Pretty Little Liars and Teen Wolf this show is right up your ally.
This show is absolutely wonderful! It keeps the viewer on their toes and you never know what is going to happen next. For those who read the comics, keep an eye out for certain ties to that! The cast is great and the story line even better. Arrow gives the viewer the right amount of action and drama.
My go-to summer show. For those in "Desperate Housewives" withdrawal, this show is for you! The seasons are not too long which makes every episode more interesting than the last!
Scandal has both political aspects as well as sexual tensions between multiple characters in the show. If you aren't overwhelmed by the on goings on the Whitehouse in this show then you are worried about Olivia Pope and her love interests. Scandal has something for every viewer; mystery, action, politics, sex, it has it all. Give it a chance because I am sure you will love it.
When I first watched this show I was taken back by the telenovela aspect. However, this hilarious drama will get viewers wanting more. Our not-so-typical protagonist Jane, will keep you rooting for her every time. If you like New Girl or Switched at Birth, then I think you will like this show!
Has a sort of "Charmed" feel to the show but darker. "Witches" keeps me coming back for more!
