I like shows that make fun of themselves. And it's totally okay for Asians to make fun of Asians.
Just like it's totally okay for Blacks to make fun of Blacks (Blackish/Every Tyler Perry Movie).
I mean look. This isn't philosophical or intellectual. But that's why it's so awesome.
Don't ever forget, according to US Weekly, celebrities are people too.
I generally don't binge watch anything, but I binged on this.
...interesting...
Find me something more entertaining. Take away the show quality aspect and required brain usage and just drill down to the entertainment factor. Seriously try. The only acceptable answer I might see is Toddlers & Tiaras.
This show would have done so much better if it hadn't associated itself with Sex and the City. Sure, that got peoples' attention, but it was really just a Degrasi-like High School Drama, except with cuter people, cuter clothes, cuter...everything.
Is it bad that this show makes me wonder what human tastes like?
I'm going to miss this show... Even as a parody, it had so many relate-able elements. Plus I just love the general "clueless"-ness. I remember when I had first started watching the show and about five episodes in I recommended it to my roommate, who was also from a similarly affluent suburb. The next day she was all up to date and excited for the next episode. Just delightful.
Oh gee glee. What happened? Oh right I know - you realized you'd make more money cramming songs into episodes and making it kid-friendly. Got it.
Yea, there really isn't much to say about this show except 'bad'. I could barely get through the first episode without eating everything in my fridge, just to give myself something to do to keep myself occupied.
If you like fashion and you like celebrities, this is entertaining enough to keep up with.
