TV ratings: 'Glee' and 'Scandal' grow Thursday but CBS still rules the night

Fast National ratings for Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012The return of several familiar faces to "Glee" gave the show a bit of a ratings bump Thursday, drawing its biggest total audience since early October. ABC's "Scandal" also had a better-than-average night, hitting a season high in adults 18-49. The CW's dramas were up too.Elsewhere, CBS' lineup was off from its most recent slate of originals, but the network still led the night by a wide margin -- and "Two and a Half Men's" ratings were flat in the wake of star Angus T. Jones' "filth" comments earlier in the week. Liz Lemon's wedding on "30 Rock" gave the show a slight bump, but not enough to move it out of fourth place in its timeslot.CBS delivered 13.4 million viewers and an 8.3 rating/13 share in households in primetime. FOX (7 million, 4.3/7) edged ABC (6.9 million, 4.6/7) for second place. NBC drew 3.4 million viewers and... //

'30 Rock' wedding: Liz Lemon is a princess bride on 'Mazel Tov, Dummies!'

Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) is a single lady no more! After a whirlwind engagement, Criss Chross (James Marsden) put a ring on it (a knuckle ring spelling out "Tito," to be precise) in a fairy-tale wedding that could only happen on "30 Rock." To think, it all started with Dennis Duffy (Dean Winters), Liz's obnoxious ex. After another failed attempt at getting pregnant, Liz and Criss were consoling themselves with disco fries when they ran into the former Beeper King -- and his adopted son, "Black Dennis." Yep, although Liz has been on an adoption waiting list for years, her moronic ex had no trouble adopting an African-American boy -- just because he's married. "We might as well get married like every other idiot," Liz and Criss decide. And blammo! They're engaged, "Top Gun-style." While Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin) offers up Tony Bennett to sing at their wedding, Liz protests (too much?) that their City... //

Preparing For The End Of '30 Rock'

LOS ANGELES -- Jack McBrayer can see the end of "30 Rock" just up ahead. The Emmy-nominated actor best known as Kenneth the Page from the Emmy-winning show says the mood is getting sad on set as the final days of filming near. "Toward the end it's going to start getting emotional," he said, "and I'm going to start stealing stuff right and left." Among the items he hopes to acquire? His blue NBC page uniform: "It's pretty much just formed to my own skin like body paint at this point." A star of the weekend's top film "Wreck-It Ralph," McBrayer said he's eager to see what roles the future might hold. "I know how good I got it right now, so on the one hand, I'm like if it ain't broke, don't fix it," he said. "But then you do always wonder, like, what if I would be the best serial killer in the world or something? So I'm open for anything. Like I said, old boy just wants to work." //

30 Rock’s Jack McBrayer on Wreck-It Ralph, Video Games, and His Accent

In the video-game movie Wreck-It Ralph , Jack McBrayer and John C. Reilly play rival characters in the Donkey Kong–esque "Fix-It Felix, Jr." (which you can play here ). McBrayer is the perpetual (and perpetually upbeat) fixer-upper Felix, who cleans up after Reilly's wreckage. But once Ralph doesn't want to wreck things anymore, what does that mean for Felix? McBrayer, who channels more than a bit of Kenneth the Page from 30 Rock for the adorable Felix, chatted with Vulture about old-school video games, facing off against Bryan Cranston, and his accent.
