'Awkward' Season 2: Sadie gets some Matty action

Thank you to the character who gave us the ever snarky "You're welcome."Molly Tarlov, who plays mean girl Sadie, came up with what became her signature line on MTV's hit "Awkward" returning for a second season Thursday, June 28."Playing a character, I can't just be mean just for the hell of it," Tarlov tells Zap2it. "It has to come from a certain place. I see her as much more than a mean girl. She is insecure, funny and smart. She wants to keep everyone at arm's length, she's scared to let everyone in."PICS: Summer TV 2012 from 'The Bachelorette' to 'Breaking Bad'Sadie is that girl whose purpose seems to be to make everyone else's life miserable. She's particularly awful to the main character, Jenna, (Ashley Rickards) because Jenna manages to have the two most desirable boys, Jake and Matty (Bruce Davern and Beau Mirchoff) besotted."I am Team Matty," Tarlov says. "I really don't know what... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/06/awkward-season-2-sadie-gets-some-matty-action.html

'Awkward' Season 2 trailer: Are you Team Jake or Team Matty?

In Season 2 of "Awkward," we'll finally see the fall-out after Jenna (Ashley Rickards) discovered that it was her mom (Nikki DeLoach) who wrote her the horrifying carefrontation letter that set the events of Season 1 in motion. How would you feel if your mother wrote you a letter that started with, "You could disappear and no one would notice"? The letter and Jenna's reaction to it definitely have a major ripple effect, particularly when it comes to her dad, Kevin (Mike Faiola). Luckily, Jenna has plenty of her own drama to distract herself from what's going on at home. We thought that Matty (Beau Mirchoff) might back off, now that he knows Jenna is dating his best friend Jake (Brett Davern). That's definitely not the case. In fact, Matty is finally willing to admit his wrongdoings from last year... and to make up for them, loud and clear. He starts to take the third wheel... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/06/awkward-season-2-trailer-are-you-team-jake-or-team-matty.html
