Charlotte (Liv Lisa Fries) reveals Gereon Rath (Volker Bruch), what his murdered assistant Jänicke had stenographed over the mysterious freight train in his notebook. Together they make their way to the train, which is to go to Russia. On the road, however, there is a devastating accident.
