Australia suffers the world's worst heath-wave, so sunburns abound. The next day, with a classic swimming competition on hand, the ocean brings in icy southern water. Later, the beach is practically cleared of sunbathers by strong southern winds, but that draws surfers, so the lifeguards and paramedics are flat out again, now with bloody and fractured patients.
