Episode 50: Pierre Paris

It's the final night in a week long dinner party and perfectionist Pierre Paris is up last. Joining him around the dinner table is office administrator Linda David, metal head Johnny Gough, woodworker Marcel Parent, and tour guide Evelyn von Sichartshofen. Tonight Pierre is planning on showing off his ambitious menu that consists of a lot words. His appetizer is a fresh made pasta to order…a la putanseca or mushrooms medley served with Waldorf salad, quail egg crab cake and tuna tapenade bruschetta. If that doesn't impress maybe his guests will enjoy his main: poulet parisienne in a creamy wine sauce with mushroom flambé served with cabbage and French style potatoes. And if his food is a flop maybe his dinners will be wowed by him impressive knife collection. That’s if they can stand up after this rich dinner which he rounds off with trifle. Can a pretentious cook achieve greatness or will his guests pretend to be impressed?
