I really used to be into my superheroes and I still am, to some part. That was until shows like Game of Thrones, Mr Robot, Jessica Jones and so forth, came about and started the age of the anti-hero. They planted a little seed of darkness and shows like Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl and the Flash felt soft-washed by a gentle cycle that removes any type of personality, character flaws and deep personal conflict. Alas, this is a show for a much younger audience who are looking for the naive superhero equivalent of the childhood game Cops and Robbers.

Being a fan of both the Flash and Arrow, I am excited to see where the CW takes this show. Unlike the average cliche CW shows like "Supergirl", these shows are slightly darker while not as dark as Marvel's shows. This is a good show for people that like spin-off series.

Four episodes in now and the plot is still a bit slow. While the acting can be subpar I still enjoy seeing all of the various characters come together. Hopefully by the end of the season it gets more interesting. Some might say this show is cheesy but I think it suits the show and the target audience.
