Game of Thrones' Maisie Williams: I Did Try to Make Arya Left-Handed!

Living in the fantasy world of HBO's Game of Thrones can be brutal, especially on the children. Just ask newcomer Maisie Williams who plays 11-year-old Arya Stark. It's not easy being a Stark family member these days. In the season premiere, Arya's younger brother Bran (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) witnessed his first beheading and later took a crippling tumble out of a tower window. //www.tvguide.com/News/Game-Thrones-Maisie-Williams-1033874.aspx?rss=breakingnews

Game of Thrones - It's Littlefinger's Game Now

Peter Dinklage's Tyrion Lannister had a very conspicuous absence from Sunday night's episode of  Game of Thrones  ("You Win or You Die," 5/29), and in his stead the spotlight was taken -- no, seized -- by Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish. Played marvelously by Irish actor Aiden Gillen ( The Wire , Identity ), Littlefinger leapt to the center of the fold, and maybe -- just maybe -- overtook Tyrion as show's most watchable character. Spoilers are below if you haven't seen the episode. Littlefinger's early episode monologue/soliloquy was the single best change from novel to screen that  Game of Thrones  has accomplished. It gave us a bit of insight into his mind, his motivations, and really, crafted him into a more immediately engrossing character than he was in the novels (though his slow build in the books is equally fascinating. Just look at this excerpt from that monologue, which takes place between Littlefinger and a prostitute, Roz, who he is hiring for his brothel: //tvovermind.zap2it.com/cable/hbo/game-of-thrones/game-thrones-littlefingers-game/60211?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+tvovermind%2Ftvnews+%28TVOvermind+Television+News%29

Game of Thrones: Jason Momoa's Secrets to Playing a Naked, Eyeliner-Wearing Dothraki Warlord

Jason Momoa can't wait for fans to hear what Khal Drogo will say next, especially following last week's shocking Game of Thrones conclusion, in which he gave his brother-in-law Viserys a "golden crown" of molten death. In Sunday's episode, "You Win or You Die" (airing 9/8c on HBO), an enraged Drogo delivers a lengthy speech after his wife Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) is threatened. It not only reveals his martial side, but also shows that the previously quiet leader of the nomadic Dothraki can string together more than a couple words. //www.tvguide.com/News/Game-Thrones-Jason-Momoa-1033641.aspx?rss=breakingnews

Game of Thrones' Crowning Moment

They say nothing gold can stay, but Viserys Targaryen's molten demise is gonna stick in our minds for a long time. Last night, the gloriously gory Game of Thrones once again proved that we should completely expect major players to perish without warning (for the unspoiled among us who haven't read the books, that is) by dispensing with the whiny white-blonde Beggar King. And not with just some common sword slice or a been-there-done-that beheading. Nope, the incestuous and exiled heir was, well, gold-plated to death.
