'Glee' 1.07 Preview: The Real Showdown - Featured

It's Sue versus Will 2.0 on the next " Glee ". To cause dissension among the Glee Club members, Sue forces the students to compete against each other, but the real showdown happens when she and Will get called into the principal's office. In a recent interview with NPR, Jane Lynch speaks as Sue, saying "The cheerleaders would squash the show choir by stomping on their windpipes. This would result in a bunch of shallow-breathing singers who would soon form vocal nodes. The Glee Club would be hobbled." Also in the episode called "Throwdown", the Glee kids rally to support Quinn after some shocking news is revealed. It will air on Wednesday, October 14. On another news, the show is also harvesting a success in the music world after its musical selections surpassed the 1 million mark on iTunes. Songs like Queen's "Somebody to Love", Heart's "Alone", and Journey's "Don't Stop Believin' " are all included in the Top 200 downloads. Glee: A History of...Violence?! - Featured

Forget about watching the fights over at the World Wrestling Federation. Sounds like things could get pretty violent over at Glee . And we're not talking about another slushie being thrown in poor Rachel Berry's face... Jane Lynch, who plays butch cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester, tells us that she and Matthew Morrison, who stars as choir teacher Will Schuester, almost go fist-to-fist in an upcoming episode. "We're always at each other's throats, but Will always stays sort of civilized," Lynch explains. "But I eventually get him to go to the other side. I push him so far that he becomes evil and he doesn't recognize himself anymore--and I love that!" We don't want to tell you everything that happens, but Lynch says, "Will says some really choice things to me that really kind of knock me down--how I'm going to end up alone and bitter. He really has it with me and we almost come to blows." As Glee fans already know, the series was recently picked up for another nine episodes in addition to the 13 that have already been shot. They'll start shooting the rest of the season in January, according to Lynch. "We finished in July so it's been a long time since I've been in that tracksuit," Lynch laughs. "I can't wait to get back into it." Source: E!Online - Glee: A History of...Violence?!

Glee's Shining Stars Explain Those Love Triangles, Squares & Pentagons - Featured

The geometric lingo being thrown around by the kids on everyone's favorite hour of musical goodness is getting way too confusing. In our recent conversations with the cast, Lea Michele and Dianna Agron (real-life BFFs) mentioned a love triangle, Cory Monteith called it a love square and Chris Colfer introduced the love pentagon! While we eagerly await the love parallelogram, we're enjoying the ride--and the refresher course on shapes--and getting down to the nitty-gritty on who's lovin' who on Glee : Finn Loves Rachel & Quinn? Cory seems to think so. And while he's doing the honorable thing by staying with his fake "baby mama" Quinn for now, he tells us: "Finn is not only strangely attracted to Rachel, but he respects what she chases after in her life. He's walking a thin line and trying to be somebody for everybody, and she's an example of someone truly following her dreams and that's attractive." Aww, true love. So will they get together when the time is finally right? "That might be the way it plays out," an ominous Cory says. "There's a very active love triangle between Quinn, Finn and Rachel throughout the whole 13 [episodes], which will become a love square," explains Lea, "and some shocking things happen." Such as? "We have some good bitch fights," Dianna and Lea promise. And not that we don't love Finn, but we can't quite figure out his angle in all of this. "When the love triangle becomes a square it's going to be scandalous, and my character is none the wiser because he's aloof," Corey teased. What about Puck and the rest of the gang? Puck Loves Quinn? "My character really cares about Quinn, not so much Finn," Mark Salling tells us. "I think we are going to fight for her." After Puck outed the pregnancy in last night's ep, we're guessing he took two steps back in securing his future with his actual baby mama. Puck Loves...Teacher? "Maybe, possibly," Mark teased. And Cory took the high road, saying, "I can't confirm nor deny that," when asked about Puck's older ladyloves. Although he did get some from our favorite lady ever last night, Kristin Chenoweth. Kurt Loves...Everyone? At this point, we're all pretty sure of Kurt's love of Finn, but is that actually going anywhere? "There's a love pentagon in the show and I'm a part of it," Chris tells us. Hmm, Rachel plus Finn plus Quinn plus Puck plus Kurt? We shall see! What About the Baby? The lies and baby-snatching ploys continue for the time being, but Cory spilled this: "I do find out that it's not mine, but it's not for a while." Will Quinn "lose" the baby and give it to Jessalyn Gilsig's Terri? "I don't even know!" swore Dianna (although we're not sure we buy it). So there you have it. Just a few of the shapely pairings that can be seen on your weekly installment of Glee, and that's not even mentioning the Will/Terri/Emma fiasco. Don't miss Glee on Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. on Fox. Source: E!Online - Glee's Shining Stars Explain Those Love Triangles, Squares & Pentagons

Video Interview: Chris Colfer and Cory Monteith of 'Glee'

Sitting across from Chris Colfer and Cory Monteith of Glee , it's hard not to think you're sitting across from Kurt Hummel and Finn Hudson. The pair share incredible comedic timing, just as they do on the show. Chris with his rosy cherubic cheeks and impeccably coiffed hair seems like a kinder, gentler version of Kurt. And the strapping Cory in his white henley looked every bit the dreamy small town quarterback, but nicer and with a better sense of humor. Just a few minutes with Chris and Cory, and it's abundantly clear why creator Ryan Murphy cast these virtual unknowns for two of Glee's most important roles. The newly-minted stars could not have been more enjoyable or engaging interview subjects. The pair amiably talked about the "cloud nine-esque" nature of their lives since Glee started, their similarities (and lack thereof) with their characters, their thoughts on Gleeks, and their dream guest stars. ("Alec Baldwin!") Cory even sang me a line from the next 80's ballad he'd like to tackle, adding, "I think there's something so fantastically horrible about that music." The pair went on to share what it was like working with their oh so talented guest star from tonight's new episode, Kristin Chenoweth. Let's just say that Miss Chenoweth is a little bit quicker with choreography than the rest of the Glee cast, or as Chris put it: "Glee Cast 40 hours, Kristn Chenoweth 1." Watch the full interview with Chris and Cory below and then be sure to tune in tonight to see the boys in "The Rhoades Not Taken." Source & Interview Here

This Week in 'Glee' Quotables: "The Rhodes Not Taken"

The Glee quotables corner--because it's essential to the development of these kids. This week: pizza-bound cows, animated deer, and hypothetical puppies. Terri: "That's a really good sign! That means the baby's not a mongoloid!" Emma: "Do you remember the Jamaican bobsled team? Biiiig long shots." Jacob: "Show me your bra." Rachel: "You mean the one I'm wearing?" Jacob: "Quid pro quo, Rachel. If you want a good review, show me your over-the-shoulder boulder-holder." Rachel: "No way, you can't do that! My performance will stand on its own. Besides, no one reads the school paper anyway." Jacob: "Oh, but I'll post my scathing review online. You'll be finished on the high school stage. Now get those sweater puppies out of their cashmere cage!" To Read More Click Here . If You Missed This Episode Watch It Here Online Now
