Sela Ward plays Margaret Graves, the wife of former U.S. President Richard Graves (Nick Nolte), who decides to follow her own political ambitions just as her husband embarks on a Don Quixote-like journey to right the wrongs of his administration.
This is a comedy that I find funny. The cast is perfect. Nolte is hilarious and I have been in love with Sela Ward since Sisters. The rest of the cast I am getting to know and enjoy the bitter by-play between everybody.
The writing is acerbic and makes fun of the stereotypes that consume America.
Glad to see it has been renewed and recommend it highly to everyone.
Graves is life confirming in a way that not many other shows are. I quite like the characters and how they each react to their families situations. The show starts off really well, so you need only to watch one episode to get hooked - I can definitely recommend.
