Sara Ramirez led her "Grey's Anatomy" cast mates in Thursday's (March 30) musical episode and now the soundtrack is available on iTunes. The episode revolved around Ramirez's character, Callie, who got into a car accident with her girlfriend, Arizona (Jessica Capshaw). That was the event that sent Callie hallucinating that she and her colleagues who were trying to save her expressed their emotions in song.A Tony winner for her role in Broadway's "Spamalot," we already knew the girl could sing. But, what about her cast mates? They also showed quite a talent for the musical arts. Here's a list of all the songs from the episode and who sang them:"Breathe (2AM)," Anna Nalick - Chyler Leigh (Lexie)"Chasing Cars," Snow Patrol - Kevin McKidd (Owen), Ramirez and Chandra Wilson (Miranda)"Grace" Kate Havnevik - Ramirez and the female cast."How to Save a Life," by The Fray - The cast"Runnin' on Sunshine," Jesus Jackson -  The cast"How We Operate," Gomez... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/04/sara-ramirez-and-the-greys-anatomy-music-event-soundtrack-full-song-list.html

'Grey's Anatomy' music event: Was it 'Rent' or low-rent?

We would be lying if we didn't admit that we have been looking forward to the music event on "Grey's Anatomy" for just as long as you have. We'd also be lying if we didn't say that when the doctors first broke out into song we giggled a bit at the sheer absurdity of it all.And we're not sure if we ever really got used to them breaking out in song. A musical episode is just really hard to do. And we know very few television shows that can pull it off. Even in most musical theatre we've watched, plot falls victim to the conceit of the musical performances. Were the voices good? Certainly. Were the songs entertaining? In and of themselves, yes. Ultimately, though, we were never quite able to suspend our disbelief. In other words, it never stopped feeling jarring. We would have loved to just watch Callie (Sara Ramirez) and the team play the... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/04/greys-anatomy-music-event-was-it-rent-or-low-rent.html

The "Grey's Anatomy" music event is finally airing Thursday (March 31) and we'll finally see if Callie pulls through after a car accident that left her with several life-threatening injuries. Yet, whatever happens to her character, Sara Ramirez is still thrilled by the genre-crossing episode."It was very exciting, ['Grey's' creator Shonda Rhimes] has been wanting to do this since the show started," Ramirez tells Access Hollywood Live.Tony award-winning Ramirez is quite the accomplished singer and just released an 8-song EP available on iTunes now. Yet despite all her experience, she says she still gets nervous when she performs."I get nervous every time [I sing] because I care," she says. "I think the day that you're not nervous, is the day you should start doing something else."While Ramirez's character is the focus of this episode, many of her cast mates lend their voices to some of our favorite "Grey's" classics including songs by The Fray and Snow... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/03/greys-anatomys-sara-ramirez-admits-she-was-nervous-about-the-music-event.html

Will Callie Lose the Baby on Grey's Anatomy?

Grey's Anatomy has played the miscarriage card before. Is Callie headed for a similar tragedy in the wake of the car accident that set the stage for this week's episode? Obviously, the question of whether her unborn child with Mark will survive the accident is a major question of the musical event that has been hyped for weeks on end. Will Callie and the baby make it? Here's what Sara Ramirez had to say: Sara in the studio prepping for her biggest episode yet . "Maybe Callie getting pregnant with Mark's child isn't really an accident in the bigger picture," the Tony winner teased to TV Guide . "This child may teach Callie, Arizona, and Mark something they had no idea they needed to learn and grow from." What do you think she means by that? Will tragedy strike? Or will they all come out of this fine, with a renewed commitment to their unconventional family unit? Comments and theories are welcomed below ... //www.tvfanatic.com/2011/03/will-callie-lose-the-baby-on-greys-anatomy/
