The creators of "How I Met Your Mother" have said numerous times that they've had pieces of their series finale in mind as far back as Season 1 and 2. Now there's photographic proof to back up their claims.Co-creator Carter Bays tweeted a picture of his computer screen Thursday night (Feb. 6), showing the top of a script page reading "How I Met Your Mother - 'Finale.' 'How I Met Your Mother': 'Sunrise' starts the journey to the finale

After hitting a season high point in the 200th episode of "How I Met Your Mother," the show pivoted to a very different kind of story for episode 201. Different, yes, but Monday's (Feb. 3) episode "Sunrise" is still among the better episodes the show has put forth this season, and definitely in the top tier of ones that don't feature the Mother on screen. It managed a slew of guest appearances without overwhelming the primary characters' stories, brought Marshall to his senses about his dirty play in his fight with Lily and brought some closure -- at long, long last -- to Ted and Robin. What it really did, though, was signal that "How I Met Your Mother" is really, truly ready to start the run to its series finale. Ted and Robin's story may have ended with the rather obvious visual cue of Robin floating into the sky after Ted "lets go,"* but... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2014/02/how-i-met-your-mother-sunrise-starts-the-journey-to-the-finale.html

Cristin Milioti on How I Met Your Mother, The Wolf of Wall Street, and ‘Sexy Baby Voice’

In playing How I Met Your Mother 's titular mother, Cristin Milioti had a hard task in front of her: satisfy millions of fans who've spent eight seasons imagining a character whose reveal is the very point of the show. If she hadn't proven herself already, Milioti sure did in last week's episode, a big one for getting to know the future Mrs. Mosby. (Her first name is still a mystery. Guessing is a HIMYM tradition.) Vulture spoke to Milioti — whose previous roles include the Tony-nominated lead in Broadway's Once ; the baby-voiced Abby Flynn on 30 Rock ; and Jordan Belfort's first wife in The Wolf of Wall Street — about her ukulele performance, EGOTs, and, oddly enough, time-traveling Susan B. Anthony.  Read More... //www.vulture.com/2014/02/how-i-met-your-mother-cristin-milioti-interview.html

'How I Met Your Mother' spoilers: Robin ranks Ted's exes in 'Sunrise'

brightcove.createExperiences();At "How I Met Your Mother's" final TCA press tour session in mid-January, co-creator Craig Thomas noted that a bunch of former recurring guest stars would return before the series ends in March. What he didn't say was that a very large chunk of them would all show up in Monday's (Feb. 3) episode, "Sunrise." But a lot -- no, really, a lot -- of familiar faces will be back.At the end of the previous, Mother-centric episode, a still-drunk Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) snuck out of Ted's (Josh Radnor) hotel room while Ted was on the balcony listening to his future wife (Cristin Milioti) sing "La Vie en Rose." In "Sunrise," Ted and Robin (Cobie Smulders) go out in search of the missing groom, only to wind up talking about reminiscing about his past girlfriends, as you can see in the video above. It's not just talk, either. Ashley Williams (Victoria) and Abby Elliott (Jeanette)... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2014/02/how-i-met-your-mother-spoilers-robin-ranks-teds-exes-in-sunrise.html

'How I Met Your Dad': Meet the characters of the 'How I Met Your Mother' spinoff

Some details about "How I Met Your Mother's" spinoff "How I Met Your Dad" have leaked, and it's safe to say "HIMYM" fans will recognize their show in the new one. What they won't see, though, is simply a gender-reversed copy of the original show. A casting breakdown of the lead characters on "How I Met Your Dad" shows a few key differences -- the most notable of which is that main character, i.e. the female Ted, begins the show as a married woman. Per TVLine, which first published the character sketches, here's who we'll meet if the spinoff from "HIMYM" creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas and "Up All Night's" Emily Spivey goes to series.Sally: In her 20s but still not very grown-up and a little bit aimless, Sally has been married for a year to Gavin and is realizing they're not meant for each other. Danny: Sally's older brother and opposite personality, he's a... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2014/01/how-i-met-your-dad-meet-the-characters-of-the-how-i-met-your-mother-spinoff.html
