As a Homicide Detective, Jessica King (Amy Price-Francis) sees things that everyone else misses: in crime scenes, in evidence, in the motivations and drives of the suspects. A fearless and imaginative lateral thinker, her unique eye for detail turns cases around.
The series began well. I don't know what happened in Season 2. It started with an almost completely new team and bits and pieces of her personal life could have been played up more like the relationship with her father. They didn't even show us/ let us know when her sister had her baby. With such a complex character they needed to have given a lil bit more of Jess to us as a character. The personal side of her character really became a bore. Can't believe they didn't even suggest surrogacy!
