Life Unexpected: Preview of Episode 10 "Family Therapized"

It appears serious on tonight's episode of Life Unexpected. The promo goes as far as calling it "the darkest hour" in the series' 10-episode run. Hmm. Sure, we don't approve of some of Lux's (Britt Robertson) bonehead decisions, but when she says something like "I know I seem like I'm OK but I'm more messed up inside than you realize," you kind of take a step back and understand where Lux is coming from. On "Family Therapized" Lux's social worker reemerges once again to meet with Cate (Shiri Appleby) and Baze (Kristoffer Polaha) after Bug and Lux are picked up by the police. Also, Cate tries to find a returning Bug a job at the radio station. Source & Preview

'Life Unexpected' Episode 10 "Family Therapized" Promos and Photos

First of all, no such word as "therapized." On this episode of Life Unexpected, all things come to a head as Lux (Britt Robertson), Cate (Shiri Appleby) and Baze (Kristoffer Polaha) meet with Lux's social worker. This happens when Bug and Lux are picked up by the police. Both parents have alternately tried to give Lux the family that she didn't have, although their level of success had been temporary at best. On the last episode, for instance, Baze mistakenly accused Lux's date Jones of trying to get into her pants without knowing that - guess what - Lux is not exactly a virgin by liberal definition. Elsewhere on "Family Therapized" the three try to put on a happy face for the social worker, just to make sure that Lux will not return to the harsh foster care system, but the promo says otherwise, and we know that they'll be denied. 'Life Unexpected' Recap: No Dress Shoes for Lux

You didn't think it's just Cate (Shiri Appleby) who'll do horribly in this whole parenting thing, did you? To balance things off on Life Unexpected, there's got to be an episode where Baze (Kristoffer Polaha) will screw up royally, and that's just what happened on "Formal Reformed." We also found out where Cate's kind of unlikable personality stems from (think horrible high school experience), though that doesn't excuse the annoying voice. On tonight's episode, Cate and Ryan (Kerr Smith) are still doing the show, making snide remarks and pretending that they're together. It's creepy how well Ryan can switch from sweet banter to icy I-hate-you-b-tch in zero seconds. Ryan is pretty much absent on this episode, since it's all about the past. The doesn't-Abercrombie-have-a-girlfriend situation was finally cleared, while Jones was helping Lux (Britt Robertson) out with her bike. He also casually asked her to the Winter Formal, and Lux's first reaction: "I'd rather eat paste." When she realized he wasn't kidding, she actually said yes. To Read More Click Here .

'Life Unexpected's' Britt Robertson Explains About Being On 'Team Ryan' & More - Starpulse

After wrapping the first season of "Life Unexpected," the show's titular hero, Britt Robertson, should be able to just hang out with her friends, family, and little dog at home. Instead, she is still fielding questions about just who Lux and Cate will "pick" romantically and what we can expect from the upcoming episodes! To Read More Click Here .

Life Unexpected: Preview of Episode 9 "Formal Reformed"

Bug is back, everyone. Tonight on Life Unexpected, it's the Winter Formal on Lux's (Britt Robertson) school, and Cate (Shiri Appleby) and Baze (Kristoffer Polaha) know only too well what this means: Lux is out to have sex (partly because that's where the two conceived Lux in the first place). As luck would have it, Jones asks Lux to the event, and Bug is back. Baze also discovers a condom in his daughter's room, prompting him to play the paranoid father and go to the dance to interfere with any sex that might occur. Cate will also find herself in the dance, and according to Life Unexpected creator Liz Tigelaar, somehow, the two will end up making the dance about them, which they are quite wont to do. Crazy Abby - Cate's sister - is also back, to give Lux the sex talk, something which she obviously doesn't need. Abby is also the source of our Awkward Quote of the Week: "There are many other ways to get the same feeling without actually having sex. Um, flexible showerheads, vibrating back massagers, the spin cycle of the washing machine." Catch Life Unexpected tonight 8pm on the CW. Source & Preview

'Life Unexpected' Episode 9 "Formal Reformed" Photos and Clips

On the next episode of Life Unexpected, there's good news and bad news. The good news is Cate's (Shiri Appleby) crazy sister Abby (Alexandra Breckenridge) will be back. The bad news is, Bug (Rafi Gavron) will also be back. On "Formal Reformed" Abercrombie Boy asks Lux to the Winter Formal, the exact event where Cate and Baze (Kristoffer Polaha) conceived Lux. Understandably, both of them are concerned by history repeating itself, a suspicion bolstered when Baze discovers a condom in Lux's room. Both parents dutifully try to interfere with any plans of sex that Jones may have. In the process, Cate's thoghts dift back to her very own high school formal, taking her back to the night Lux was conceived. After a very Ryan-full (Kerr Smith) episode this week, he appears to be nowhere in sight on "Formal Reformed." With Bug and his spider tattoo back in town, however, at least one love triangle on Life Unexpected makes sense. Promos after the jump: Life Unexpected airs Monday on the CW. Source & Preview

Life Unexpected: Preview of Episode 8 "Bride Unbridled"

First off, Life Unexpected moves to 8pm this week as Gossip Girl returns on 9pm. Will this work better than the Lux-One Tree Hill combo, we're not so sure. Tonight on the rookie CW series, it's kind of a repeat of last week's Hands on a Hybrid contest, when Baze (Kristoffer Polaha) and Ryan (Kerr Smith) are pitted against each other anew, this time on a sort of Newly Wed quiz type of thing. Math - or Matthew - is also there, which should be good for a few laughs. Creator Liz Tigelaar tells us that Lux (Britt Robertson) has packed up and left Cate's (Shiri Appleby) for good because she didn't take Tasha in. To Read More Click Here .
