I'm still fond of this show a couple decades after it was cancelled, which doesn't usually happen with me. Henriksen did a fabulous job, which is a good part of the reason I loved it so much. Perhaps it's rude to say so, but he just looks like he's seen far too much to ever get away from it. The show was also more shocking and gripping than most of the shows on at around the same time period. If you don't believe me, give the first episode a watch and remember that this was on Fox alongside the X-Files. The last season lost some of the edge, I feel, but the first two genuinely could make you feel like the new millennium might just be the end of it all.
