Cross and double-cross! So Clay's friend offers to help, gives them false information which they then run around trying to use. Finally he has him booted from the building, only for everyone to realize that all their running around just helped to solidify the general vote that was already decided, which was to vote against the president whom no one seems to like or support. Now this puts her in a position to veto it with an executive order which makes her a pariah in her own government. Clay feels used and hurt. And everyone is upset for various reasons that are not all connected. Meanwhile, the double-crossing friend in one moment has the nerve to insincerely apologize to Clay quoting "it's just business, you understand"; and in the next moment, insensitively ask Reenah out on a date after he had insulted her entire ethnic group, and to her face no less. Well written, directed and acted! Finally an episode that had some meat on its bones...
