Aniplex USA Acquires ‘Silver Spoon’ Anime

Aniplex USA has made a pretty solid pickup with one of the more engaging coming of age stories in the last couple of years with the first season of  Silver Spoon . With the acquisition announcement this weekend, Aniplex is going to give it a pretty quick release as it will debut on July 15th, 2014 through select retailers. The set will contain the entire first season of the series, 275 minutes worth, priced at $74.98 with a sale price of $59.98 at the select retailers. The show will have a few extras in it as we get the clean opening and closings, trailers and commercials for the series. It’ll be a DVD-only release with the episodes spread across three discs in its original Japanese language with English subtitles. Crunchyroll Adds ‘Silver Spoon’ Season Two For Winter 2014 Anime Lineup

An expected return for Crunchyroll has also been announced as  Silver Spoon 2  is one of the latest pickups. The series is joining an already crowded Thursday lineup when it debuts on January 9th at 12:50pm ET for premium users and a week later for free members. Madman Entertainment Adds ‘Silver Spoon’ Anime Acquisition

Add another feather in their cap as Madman Entertainment continues their twelve days of announcements by bringing out the license acquisition of  Silver Spoon . The series is based on the manga by Hiromu Arkawa, creator of  Fullmetal Alchemist , which got a simulcast this past summer in many territories around the world. Crunchyroll Adds ‘Silver Spoon’ For Summer 2013 Anime Lineup

Crunchyroll is bringing out one of the more intriguing titles of the summer from the creator behind  Fullmetal Alchemist  with  Silver Spoon . First Japanese ‘Silver Spoon’ Anime Release Details Surface

With the series set to debut shortly, the Japanese release for  Silver Spoon  has had some of its first details slide out. The new series is based off of the manga by Hiromu Arakawa of  Fullmetal Alchemist  fame and the first volume solicitation plans have arrived, the details on what will be included on the disc and as first press extras have yet to be revealed. The first volume will debut on September 18th, 2013 in Japan where the LE Blu-ray will be priced at 4,200 yen and the LE DVD will be priced at 3,150 yen. New ‘Silver Spoon’ Key Anime Visual Debuts

Set for premiere in Japan on July 12th, the latest series from A1- Pictures,  Silver Spoon , has gotten a new key visual released. Aniplex USA Acquires ‘Silver Spoon’ Anime Streaming Rights

Set for premiere in Japan on July 12th, the latest series from A1- Pictures,  Silver Spoon , has gotten its streaming rights in at least North America secured as Aniplex USA will be bringing the show over. At the moment, it’s not clear where they’ll be streaming it, but based on past record, it’ll be Crunchyroll and likely Hulu as well.  The series has a lot of anticipation behind it as it’s based on the ,manga work from  Fullmetal Alchemist  author Hiromu Arakawa and  Sword Art Online  Director Tomohiko Ito.
