We start off with Puck saying goodbye to his new bride Betty and son Bogart. He says he couldn't be any happier with the family he has and she wishes him the best in the rest of the competition as she leaves to go home. Over in the girls villa, Rachel expresses how she believes its selfish for a girl to want to go home halfway through the competition and they could have eliminated themselves earlier and someone that wanted to stay through the competition could still be there. Genesis believes Rachel has made too many negative comments about the team as a whole. It's mission time, they arrive at the mission site, to see a whole circus/carnival setup. They see these wood cut-outs of a rollercoaster car and train. Each car has two blocks of ice, one block about 2 feet higher then the other. Johnny explains that the next mission is "Freeze your butt off". Each person will have to sit in one of the cars with their bare butt on one block of ice and their feet on the other, all while holding their arms up in the air. The person who stays on the longest with their arms up the whole time wins a Hardrock Pro Specialized Mountain Bike and Helmet. Since the girls have lost the past two mission, they are driven to win this one. Since the girls are wearing bathing suit bottoms, the guys must wear speedos to make sure both sexes are exposing the same amount of skin. All the teammates coat themselves in sunblock while the girls laugh at the guys in their speedos. The teams get in position and the time begins. With the winning time of 3 hours 10 minutes, Ellen wins the Ion Lifesaver and the mountain bikes for her team. The guys are dissapointed in their loss but think the girls deserved the win. Back at the score board, we learn the Inner Circles are- Girls 1)Ruthie from Real World Hawaii 2)Emily from Road Rules 2 3)Ellen from Road Rules The Quest Guys 1)Colin from Real World Hawaii 2)Mark from Road Rules 1 3)Theo from Real World Chicago Ellen with the Ion Lifesaver debates if she should save Dan who is in last place on the guys side, but she also respects what the guys are doing with voting off the last place teammate. In the girl's Inner Circle, Ruthie starts off by asking Ellen who she is going to give the Ion Lifesaver to, so they can start deliberating who will go home. Ellen wanted to give it to Dan, but the two guys above her are Blair(her friend) and James (Emily's Boyfriend) and she doesn't want to see either of them go, so she picks to give it to Tonya. They think about voting off the lowest scorer, but it's Annesa and they believe she brings so much to the team. The next person up is Tonya and she has the Lifesaver, and the next person above her is Christina who is Emily's close friend. They drop the theory of lowest scorer and start going through the teammates. Emily brings up Rachel, Ellen says she never trusted her from the first place and Emily says Rachel is the kind of girl that made her highschool life wreched. At the elimination ceremony, the guys go up and announce that Dan will be going home. Dan comes up and says there will be chocolate cake in the girl's villa. The girl's Inner Circle goes up next, Ellen announces that they will be sending Rachel home. Immediately, the guys and several of the girls start freaking out. Rachel goes up and states that the girl's Inner Circle has set a rotten tone for this game. She says that they have only brought negativity to the team and that it will only increase as the time goes by. Ellen goes up and says she is giving the Ion Lifesaver to Tonya, the guys starting booing her and making comments toward Ellen. Rachel goes up to Ruthie and Ellen and says that she doesn't mind going home but she is upset that Ellen stated she is going home due to her lack of team support. She states she has done nothing but support that team. Prior to the elimination ceremony, Ayanna chose Ellen as her partner for the next mission. Now, that the announcement was made, Ayanna goes up and tells Ellen she refuses to be her partner. She goes off on Ruthie and Ellen stating that she doesn't understand their decision. Ruthie says if it wasn't Rachel it would have been someone else. Emily runs off and hides in the Guy's villa, leaving Ruthie and Ellen to get yelled at by every teammate. We end with Ruthie and Ellen taking a walk, they cry and start to believe they have made the wrong decision by voting off Rachel. Ellen believes she has been played by Emily and now has lost all trust in her.
