'The Following': Watch a behind-the-scenes look at the FBI raid in 'Trust Me'

It was a bad time to be one of Joe Carroll's (James Purefoy) remaining followers on "The Following" on Monday (Feb. 3).Thanks to a slip-up made by Emma (Valorie Curry), the FBI was able to track down the rest of her Carroll crew and raided their home base, killing all of them and capturing one. Luckily for Emma, she was out at the time of the raid and met up with Luke and Mark's (Sam Underwood) Carroll crew, but this was a victory for the FBI.Zap2it has an exclusive look behind-the-scenes of the big, intense FBI raid scene. Check out interviews with showrunners and Shawn Ashmore -- who plays Agent Mike Weston -- as well a look at how they shot the action. Watch the Zap2it exclusive clip below:"The Following" airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on FOX.... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2014/02/the-following-watch-a-behind-the-scenes-look-at-the-fbi-raid-in-trust-me.html

'The Following': James Purefoy reveals what's coming next for Joe and Ryan

Season 2 of "The Following" feels like a completely new show compared to Season 1, and a lot of that is thanks to Joe Carroll's (James Purefoy) absence from the action. While everyone (except for Ryan Hardy [Kevin Bacon] and a select few followers) thinks Joe is dead, he's actually just been in hiding for the past year."He's just been being very quiet because that's what he needed to do," Purefoy tells Zap2it. "He really needed to melt away which is why nobody knows that he's alive apart from these two, Mandy [Tiffany Boone] and her mother [Carrie Preston]. I think that's pretty sensible, when you've been Joe Carroll you really need anonymity."Purefoy reveals that Joe hasn't been up to anything in the past year. He really has been laying low, with nothing but his own thoughts to keep him company. "He's just been quietly living there, contemplating what his future is, contemplating the... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2014/02/the-following-james-purefoy-reveals-whats-coming-next-for-joe-and-ryan.html

The Following: Does Joe Carroll Have a New Protégé?

The Following 's  Joe Carroll ( James Purefoy ) fell off the "let's not kill people" wagon on  last week, and it looks like he'll be getting the hell out of  dodge  Arkansas post-haste to reunite with his followers in New York City. But will his adopted daughter of sorts, Mandy (new cast member  Tiffany Boone ), go with him? "You will be very surprised by Mandy," Boone tells TVGuide.com. "I think [Monday's installment] is the episode that defines who she is and who she's going to be for the rest of the season. 'The Following': Sam Underwood highlights differences between 'psychotic twins' Luke and Mark, reveals their backstory is coming

The main villain of "The Following" has always been Joe Carroll (James Purefoy), but Season 2 introduced a duo even more frightening than the serial killer/cult leader -- identical "psychotic twins" Luke and Mark, both impressively played by Sam Underwood. When Underwood auditioned for "The Following," he didn't know he was actually auditioning for two completely different characters, though he did have an idea how juicy the role would be."I could tell from the audition material that I had that they were developing a very interesting and complex character," Underwood tells Zap2it. "I had no idea of the scale of where the character was going to go. But I could tell from the get go that it would be a really fascinating individual that they were developing."Underwood has enjoyed playing up the differences in personality between Luke and Mark. "I think Luke is very self-assured. He knows his identity and has a strong sense of... //blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2014/02/the-following-sam-underwood-highlights-differences-between-psychotic-twins-luke-and-mark-reveals-the.html
