Watch an Exclusive Clip From the Inbetweeners Movie

Anthony Stewart Head always proved to be a dependable, invested mentor as Giles on Buffy the Vampire Slayer , but in the movie version of The Inbetweeners (based on the U.K. TV series), his standards are a little more ... relaxed , shall we say. The movie tracks four British teens who've just graduated from high school and are hoping to get into some debauched adventures on holiday, and when one of the lads meets up with his father (played by Head) in this exclusive clip, you can see how he might come away from the conversation ready for some time abroad. The Inbetweeners hits U.S. theaters on September 7. //www.vulture.com/2012/09/watch-an-exclusive-clip-from-the-inbetweeners.html

The Inbetweeners Movie Trailer Arrives

So here it is, the trailer for the upcoming Inbetweeners Movie . In it we see everyone’s favourite idiots Will, Jay, Neil and Simon being, you guessed it, complete chumps… just the way we like it. For those not in the know – or those who haven’t checked Empire’s feature on the sitcom spin-off in  the latest issue  –  The Inbetweeners Movie  sees the gang from Rudge Park Comprehensive going on a lads’ holiday to Crete in the pursuit of, well, clunge, clunge and more clunge. Sure, Will would quite like to see some historical monuments, but he’s swiftly shouted down after the other three would much rather be chasing some "Puss-AY!" – their words, not ours. Honestly. Pinkie swear. The star of the show seems to be, as ever, James Buckley as Jay, managing to inflict extreme pain onto his own nether regions, fall asleep in an ants’ nest and expose himself to his peers in just two brief minutes of trailer. The Inbetweeners Returns on BBC America - Featured

Check out photos from BBC America 's new show The Inbetweeners which premieres on January 25 with back to back episodes at 9pm on BBC America. Following episode will then air on Wednesdays at 9:30pm. This is definitely another great British show that you should give a chance. There are quite a few funny moments. Show Description: It begins with the new kid in town, Will (Simon Bird), who has unwillingly had to move, change schools and, as a result, make new friends. He soon meets Simon (Joe Thomas), Jay (James Buckley) and Neil (Blake Harrison), who are neither that cool nor that credible. Marooned in middle-class suburbia, The Inbetweeners follows the four friends who get drunk too quickly, ride roller coasters and crush on the girl next door. Will McKenzie is on a bad run. His parents have just divorced, and he has found himself transplanted to a public school in a suburb in outer London. He was previously at a private school, from which he inherited some snobbish tendencies, but his former school also did a good job of preparing him for the world he's smart, confident, well-read, quick-witted and outspoken. Unfortunately, none of these skills help in the suburban high school where he's landed. In fact, it makes the other kids and teachers deeply suspicious. The harder Will tries to fit in, the more he stands out. Despite the twin handicaps of being the new kid and carrying an actual briefcase, Will quickly makes new friends. Simon's the first to throw Will a line reluctantly agreeing to show him around school. He then meets Jay, who's constantly lying about his sexual conquests and daring feats, and Neil, who's really just out to lunch and often the butt of cruel jokes. Thefour of them will together try to make it through the trials of growing up in middle-class suburbia. They don't always help the situation when they're together in fact, they often make situations much worse. Over the course of their first term alone, the boys hall of shame moments include accidentally hitting a disabled girl in the face with a Frisbee, drunkenly puking on a seven-year-old, gate-crashing a funeral cortege, and calling Neil's dad a "bumder," which is equal parts "bender" and "bummer." Season 3 and a movie!

That's right ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls - although this show is an 18 so you probably shouldn't be watching it at that age - E4 have commissioned season 3 of this classic comedy to air sometime during 2010, probably around April-May as with the other seasons. I have no clues on the season length, although it will probably be 6 episodes again, and there have been no announcement about cast changes or such like either. It has also been announced an Inbetweeners movie is planned, and here comes my insider information [Wikipedia]: "In September 2009, Beesley and Morris confirmed that a film had been comissioned by Film4 and the story will revolve around the four lads going on holiday to Magaluf.[11] The creators also stated that Simon Bird (Will) and Joe Thomas (Simon) had written a script for the film which was said to be "annoyingly funnier" than theirs." So lots to look forward to. Thanks ;)
