The Emotions are an all-female soul & R&B group that was originally formed in 1962 in Chicago, Illinois. Their biggest single hit was a Disco song titled "Best of My Love" that went to #1 on both the Pop & R&B charts in 1972. They also had a hit in 1979 with the group Earth Wind & Fire with the song "Boogie Wonderland" that peaked at #6 on the pop charts and went to #2 on the R&B charts.
