It is awfully misleading as it has nothing to do with fairy tales as it is suggested. The settings are in modern day and so far then only thing I've found in common with the fairy tales are the number of main characters. That said, the acting is top notch and the stories are very engaging. It is a good suspense show.
Great suspense. It falls in the same category as Alien. While Tom Felton and Natalia Tena are golden, Sen Mitsuji leaves a lot to be desire.
The season 4 of this show has been very disappointing to me. I couldn't put my finger on what this series lacked than The Walking Dead has. I finally figured it out, community. The Walking Dead has always have a very strong sense of a community, people who where fiercely loyal to each other. In here the opposite seems to be true. They do not want to be together and someone is always fighting to keep them together. Also, there isn't a "relieve". It always feels like nothing good ever happens. Disappointing.
This show is hard to define. It lives in a place of "uncomfortable and excess". Good mysterious plot, almost sinister.
I was skeptical at the beginning because of the "Under the Dome" fiasco. In true Stephen King fashion there is a huge mystery, tons of unanswered questions, murder and the supernatural. The actors are top notch specially Cissy Spacek and Bill Skarsgard. It will keep you wondering and in the edge of your seat. The only thing I was not satisfied with was the ending. It didn't tie things together and left things without a "reason".
It's a good idea but they have made Super Girl barely "super" at all, she has way too many vulnerabilities for someone that is supposed to be "indestructible". Her strength wears off if she uses her powers too much, she can't fly to outer space, she gets punched around and bounced off the walls etc. Never once I've seen Kara being able to stand immobile when someone punches her like the woman of steel she is supposed to be. Sorry guys, she needs to be tougher.
This series has potential. The concept that God abandoned everyone, including the angels, makes for a good story. However, I don't like how the angels are portrait, they have no angel like qualities at all other than the fact that they can fly. That sort of takes away from what could've been a way more fantastic story.
I cannot see the reason why this wasn't picked up. The premise seemed engaging plus Emma Roberts was perfect for this kind of show.
I love it. It is a show that reminds us that life can be magical without it being supernatural. You just need to find people that are different from yourself and look at things from a different perspective. This show celebrates the differences and thinking outside the box. It reveals the hidden beauty in the ordinary.
