It just keeps getting better...

I Tried!!
Van Helsing, if you have seen the movie or read any of the books, you will find that this series doesn't even come close.
If that wasn't enough, the production value is deplorable.

This is one of my favorite action/dramas, I hate to see it go!
This will be the last season, do yourself favor and binge it, if you have time, only 10 episodes a season.
Best production value on the air, great writing, drama and action.
A lot of ass kicking, sub plots, deception and love making :).

WOW!!! What a GREAT episode...
I generally become a little aggravated with series where the protagonist stays in the dark, so Tuesday night I let out a loud sigh of relief. Hopefully I didn't witness another dream sequence or the beginning of a time travel event. I love this cast and their occasional mash-up, with the cast of the Arrow. This episode, more then any, fulfilled this viewers fantasies. The rest of the season promises to be full of action, romance and mystic, I can't wait.

Dark and Ugly!
Imagine reading one of those non-commercial graphic novels, where the vivid images are cloaked in mystery, for me that sums up Powers. Two very powerful creatures leap off the page or in this case the screen, Wolfe, (Eddie Izzard) who apparently is related to Hannibal Lecter (not), is a vicious villain. And then there is Retro Girl (Michele Forbes), who fights on the side of good although her tough villainous demeanor gives you pause. The ensemble gathered here are all unique, and there are many. I just completed episode 3 so a lot of the back story hasn't been filled in, but I am certain I will keep this one on my radar.

Espionage!!!
Centered around the efforts of the resistance to end WWII. These spy stories are good on so many different levels. Many of the actors assembled for X Company are familiar faces; Warren Brown (Luther), Hugh Dillion (Continuum), Lara Jean Chorostecki (Hannibal), as well as others. Although I have only seen three episodes, one actors work is so stellar that viewing her alone is well worth the watch, her name is Evelyne Brochu (Orphan Black).
By all means treat yourself to some espionage.

What an uplifting storyline!
The naivete expressed by the actors, mirrors life on so many levels. Comic relief throughout from Gael GarcĂa Bernal, Malcolm McDowell and Hanna Dunne are a welcome change of pace. The main protagonist is relative newcomer Lola Kirke who puts in a very good performance.

NCIS: New Orleans

NCIS New Orleans was just renewed, I just don't get it, NCIS & NCIS Los Angeles are hallmark shows, defining criminal investigation, action, suspense and humor, whereas NCIS New Orleans doesn't come close. Unfortunately this ensemble of characters don't command your attention and picking a favorite has been exasperating.
Edit: Season 3 looks like a much more improved ensemble, right in line with the other NCIS series.

Marvel's Agent Carter

Another winner from Marvel. Agent Carter has endless potential. This and Agents of Shield are filling in the back-stories of the Marvel movies.
