Masters of Sex

A fascinating look into a subject that affects everyone. I like that it looks at broader topics than just the sex aspect, covering the illegality of homosexuality as well as the civil rights movement. The pacing can be a bit slow at times but the storyline was artificially advanced in episode 7 of season 2 when almost two and a half years are covered in a single episode.
Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan are great as Masters and Johnson and I'm excited to see what the future holds for this show.

Brilliant British sitcom. Bernard, Fran and Manny are all lovable misfits and the show is a lot of fun.

The show is visually stunning with great cinematography; it somehow manages to make the perma-grey of Seattle varied and, in a way, beautiful. Unfortunately the technical brilliance is let down by almost everything else. The variation on the standard cop show had the potential to be great however the plot develops at such a slow pace as to almost be pointless and the characters seem not to develop in any meaningful way. Linden and Holder are two of the most frustrating leading characters I have ever come across, seeming to make the worst possible choices for themselves at every turn.
The Killing had a lot of promise and the potential to shake up the formulaic world of police shows but ends up falling far short of the mark. I would suggest giving the first two seasons a watch as this is where the show's alternative approach is at its best but beyond that, don't waste your time.

NBC comedies have always had a special place in my heart, and while 'The Good Place' may not yet be to the pedigree of 'Community' or 'Parks and Recreation', the first season is a very solid, funny and entertaining foundation on which to build.

I can't speak highly enough of this quirky little comedy, I love it's eclectic blend of absurdist humour and a little bit of heart. It's one of the few shows that still makes me genuinely laugh out loud.

An amazing show. The first anime I've watched since my childhood days of Dragonball Z and I don't think I could have picked a better one.

Average show, average cast, average rating, average everything. Not bad enough to get me annoyed and nowhere near good enough to get me excited. One of the many shows out there that exist to fill the schedule. Will keep getting renewed until CBS find another hour long drama to fill the gap in schedule.

This show is neither as good nor as bad as many people seem to think. It's initial success was down to it's apparently unique characters but that was soon found out to be far from the truth. As many people have said, this is a not-so-clever show about clever people. I also think the rest of the cast should be throwing some of their humongous pay-checks Jim Parsons way because this show would fade into mediocrity. Hence the four Emmy wins and two nominations that have flown his way.

Not the best show ever but it's good at what it does; taking the previous week's TV and mocking it relentlessly. I use it to keep semi up-to-date with all the crappy shows that I would never watch on their own.

A must watch for any football fan. An extremely interesting look behind the curtain of professional franchises.
