Amazing comedy from the genius Tina Fey. Well written and performed, special mention must go to Alec Baldwin who absolutely kills it throughout the whole series.

One of the best comedy shows ever written. Great interwoven plots and intentionally unrelatable characters. Season 4 was disappointing at first but improves significantly witrh a secind viewing.

The first few seasons were some ground-breaking TV but the series became weak and samey.

An extremely well made TV show with a solid plot and compelling characters. It makes absolutely no sense, then that I just don't enjoy it like I think I should. Don't get me wrong it's still brilliant TV and I don't regret watching it and will definitely watch any future seasons but it's just not on the level of some other shows out there; most notably its Netflix original counterpart: House of Cards.
What I will say is that if you're looking for strong, and (more importantly in my opinion) realistic, female characters then look no further.

A fun little show from the UK with an interesting premise but execution that doesn't quite live up to it. Not bad, or good, extremely average.

Marvel's Daredevil

I continue to be pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of Marvel's TV content and Daredevil only adds to my enjoyment. So different from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. or Agent Carter yet still undeniably attached. The first 15 episodes or so of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. aside, Marvel's venture into the world of TV has been nothing short of a complete success story as far as quality goes. Daredevil takes the bar first set by Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. then Agent Carter and raises it to all new heights.
Every role is perfectly cast, every shot perfectly beautiful and every moment is perfectly constructed, all leading up to one of the best season finales in recent memory. If this team up between Marvel and Netflix is anything to go by then I can't wait for the future series the two have planned.

So much fun. The quality of guests has been really high as well. I really wasn't expecting it to be this good when I first started watching but I've been very pleasantly surprised.

I'm so disappointed with this show. It had the chance to drag the tired old police narrative kicking and screaming into the 21st century but fails at every turn. Victoria Justice is the one bright spot in this show but she can't carry the appalling writing, terrible supporting cast and over the top exposition on her back. The show's failure is perhaps best highlighted by a scene in episode 3 where two of the main characters inform a grieving mother that her missing daughter is dead. The scene is so bad in every way that when they tell her the news, instead of feeling sorry for her, I start laughing. This show will go down as a good premise but a sorely missed opportunity.

Oh, and a quick p.s. for MTV; maybe don't flash up a graphic every time a song plays in the background telling us the name of the song and the artist. It kinda ruins the moment.

A show that took everything right about it's spiritual predecessor, The Thick of It, and tightened it up. Focussing on the political savvy (or lack thereof) of the Vice President and her team and their ability to stumble into just about every fuck-up imaginable. A stellar performance from Julia Louis-Dreyfus and an extremely harmonious supporting cast bring this show together perfectly.

It's no surprise that this show has won numerous awards. It's an amazingly funny and realistic commentary on life from the brilliant Louis C.K.
