Started off strong and interesting. New concept and new actors (at least for me). But they dragged it too long before ending it. The last 2 seasons were extremely boring and one would only watch because of you are already a regular by then. The show could've done with 2 seasons less; nevertheless, it was a good show.
One reason to watch - Gillian Anderson. I think she is a brilliant actor and solely followed this show because of her. Of course, Jamie Dornan is an added bonus! The concept of a serial killer and a the detective who is chasing the serial killer to be attracted to each other is not a new concept. But it is very well written and directed. If you like suspense shows, I would say this is a 'must watch'!
Another show with so much potential and that wasn't given a chance! The show takes us into the dark world of behind-the-screens of the music industry. Having only watched Ray Romano in 'Everybody Loves Raymond', his look was a big shocker to me. I cannot believe this show didn't get picked for more episodes!
The show had a lot of potential. Why would they cancel it?! Each episode piqued my curiosity; I would've definitely enjoyed more episodes.
You can't drag your viewers through 9 years of 'sometimes funny', 'sometimes-not' episodes and give it a crappy ending! You just can't! There must be some kind of a law against it. The show gave some good laughs and managed to hold its audience until the very end. But if we knew how the show is going to end before we watched episode 1 of season 1, probably most would've opted not to waste their time. I am glad to write this review after the show is over; else I would've given it better rating.
The show started off well. I even enjoyed a few episodes. Although a no-brainer since episode 1, I was soon bored of this show. Even being silly has its expiration; it got boring soon enough. I am glad it was cancelled.
If you can stand Piper Perabo's (over-) acting, you will probably like this show. Every time, she was on screen, I cringed! If the show wasn't cancelled, I would've definitely stopped watching it. I only watched the show because I followed Covert Affairs and Graceland. But I didn't know that Piper Perabo and Daniel Sunjata had only one look or one method of dialogue delivery. It got tiresome pretty soon. Not worth my time!
You know this is one of the best shows on TV! If you don't know that already, ... have you been living under a rock?! I've enjoyed reading the books and this adaptation is definitely one of the best. Even better than the movies.
I know this show is now one of the best shows on TV. I don't understand why. I followed till episode 13 of season 1 and I couldn't continue! It is so boring! Maybe it got better, but I cannot muster the interest to start watching again.
I do not know any people from Sweden to confirm if this is how they actually are. But being an Indian, I know how stereotypes are cast, I can only imagine that's what the show is about. Although funny at times, there are many other shows easily better than this one. I still enjoyed it, but maybe would not have followed it if I knew this was all to it.
