TV has changed a lot in my lifetime...now I can watch whatever I want whenever I want! It's a little overwhelming, that's why I love this website. Thanks to other people who like shows that I like, I have discovered all kinds of series I might not have ever discovered. Thanks SideReel! Thanks to everyone who contributes!

This is the classic upon which all the other great shows are based! We wouldn't have had ER, Grey's Anatomy, Chicago Fire, etc without this show. Fun to watch and see how much more realistic shows are today.

This is a good show, lots of action and intrigue. Story lines are very well written and the characters are likable.

The show is pretty self-explanatory, but...
When I watch I (almost) got away with it I know that, by the end of the show, the protagonist will be caught and brought to justice. When I watch Law & Order, NCIS, CSI, etc I know that, by the end of the show, justice will be done and the real culprit brought to justice. (with rare exceptions) With this show, you don't have a clue how it ends until the last two minutes, and they often get away scott-free. Much like I (almost) Got Away With It, the facts of the situation are repeated after each commercial break, kind of annoying to me.

The series ending episode of this show was the worst of any show ever! Until I thought about it...it's about time someone has to guts to do something like that! I would have given this show a higher rating, but I don't care for the actor who plays the protagonist. Some of the ideas and concepts were a little far-fetched, but they make the show captivating and interesting. Overall, well worth watching.

This was an interesting look at the Roman Empire with good battle scenes and historically accurate stories. Sure beats reading the book!

This is a quirky, lovable show with a great cast and charming yet goofy story lines. This show was not expected to be as popular as it was, so when Rob Morrow (Dr. Fleischman) held out for more money, they wrote him out in season six, and the show tanked (and the way they wrote him out...shame, shame). The season six DVD set doesn't include the four episodes without him.

OMG this show is so good! You can't make this stuff up, real stories told by the victims. These are some of the most insane stories I have ever heard.

This series is a follow-up to Cosmos: A Personal Voyage; Carl Sagen would be proud.

Flashpoint

This show was surprisingly good! Here's the procedure: Each episode starts with the dictionary definition of the word Flashpoint and then they show the "flashpoint" of that episode, then begins the story from the beginning. Each commercial break show stunning aerial views of the city (just like Blue Bloods!) What is surprising about this show is that each episode contains compelling emotional drama; and the villains are seldom bad people. Oh, and then there is Amy Jo Johnson (the pink Power Ranger) who is an awesome actress and a pretty good singer. Every episode ends with beautiful music, some sung by Amy who even wrote her own song for one episode.
