One Tree Hill

One Tree Hill, along with the OC were my constant during my teen years. The first 4 seasons were brilliant and as much as I did enjoy the latter seasons, taking the decision to jump the timeline forward so much so that they dealt with adult issues was a bit frustrating at times. The episode of the shooting still gets to me every time I watch it, this show is brilliant.

I am ridiculously addicted to this show. So much that after I watch every episode I am constantly googling "who is A" to get more tips and clues that I might have missed. The creator has said there are clues going through every single episode and the person was present in the beginning but it does make me wonder what is going to happen once we know who A is, will this be over? Apart from the whole mystery part, this show is a very watchable teen drama that constantly surprises you.

It took me a while to get into this show, I always used to watch it in the background and didn't really appreciate the potential for greatness it had. In recent seasons it has got even better as it tries to reinvent itself and keep the jokes fresh. The addition of more female characters has made it even more watchable. A great comedy.

Now first of all, please forgive me. I have seen Modern Family on must watch lists and popular show lists for forever but I have always ignored it as I don't really like to follow the crowd. What a stupid mistake that was. Modern Family is an absolute triumph, I managed to binge watch 4 seasons within a week and I find myself quoting lines now constantly. Every single episode makes me laugh and the show is constantly refreshing itself.

Let me get this straight. I love the premise of OUAT. The mix of fairy tales within the modern storyline is everything my Disney-loving self needs. It also means there is a constant mix of new fairytale characters to love. A personal delight was Cruella De Vil in recent episodes (my favourite Disney character of all time - how sadistic am I?!) Again this show has gone off the boil slightly in recent seasons but it still has that charm I love, and coming from the creators of Lost I know I can't give up on it just yet.

This show used to be on my unmissable list. Emily's character is enthralling and the show as a whole is very well written. It has gone off the boil in the last season and a half, especially with the addition of the annoying Margaux. But, I for one will miss this show now its ending after almost 100 episodes. What will happen to Emily/Amanda in the end? I really hope she gets her happy ending.

Never fails to put a smile on my face. Whoever said cartoons are for children have blatantly never seen this show.

So I am kind of ashamed to say that I have watched every single episode. The drama (however fake or not it is) is unmissable, there are parts which make you laugh/cry or just stare open mouthed at the screen. Everything you need from your favourite reality TV show.

This will always be my favourite teen drama. I frequently go back just to get lost in the drama of the OC.

A promising series that turned into a parody of itself.
