Everything that constructed reality TV should be. Even though storylines can be repetitive and the accents (note to reader: the majority of English people do not speak like this at all) are ridiculously irritating there is something majorly addictive about it.
Yes it took me a while to finally get around to watching it, after badgering by friends, family and generally the entire internet I finally did. And I don't regret it, every episode is a surprise and a delight whilst the storytelling and direction is intricate and brilliant.
One of my favourite shows of all time that constantly leaves me on the edge of my seat. I am not one for horror but this is one show that I can't miss. The constant fear of what comes next keeps me coming back time and time again. Yes some characters are irritating but they are only one zombie away from leaving anyway!
Shonda Rhimes what do you do to me?! This show sends me to the brink a few times a season, the writing is consistently good and the characters are well rounded. Yes there are probably too many characters but that only means that there are lots more to kill off when it comes to season finale time. I turned up late to the party on Greys, but watched every episode from the beginning to season 10 and didn't regret a single second.
Great, more slightly addictive reality TV. Its like watching the best and worst parts of relationships and I can't stop myself.
Initially I loved this show, the drama, the action, the characters and the initial premise. The fact that Jim Gordon was Ryan from the OC helped too. But, I have to admit I have kind of lost it with the latter half of the season and just grew bored of what was going on. I NEED BATMAN.
I know the storyline is ridiculous in today's modern world but I have a slight love for Jane and her telenovela storylines.
I love Shonda Rhimes and I love Kerry Washington. The first 2 seasons were intense and ridiculously watchable. But since the start of season 4, its gone off the boil slightly and I could take it or leave it some weeks. Maybe its not having the presidential relationship at the forefront, but something is missing.
I know its been going on for about 10 seasons longer then it should have. But I love ANTM, I love Tyra. The constant reinvention of the show is what makes it. The decision to add men to the show was a recent triumph. I can't believe that 22 seasons later this show still has me addicted.
Seen as I'm a young English girl who lives in the country, RHOA shouldn't be that up my street. But this show is addictive. The drama, oh the drama. My favourite housewife was Kim so the latter seasons without her seemed to have suffered somewhat, but with the veracity of NeNe it does make up for it somewhat. Am i losing brain cells by watching it? Maybe, but who really cares.
